    Title : Ang Kalupi

    Author:
    Severino Reyes is known as “Father of Tagalog
    Zarzuela”.He is a Filipino writer, dramatist, and playwright,
    highly acclaimed as one of the giants of Tagalog literature of the
    early 20th century. To many people, Reyes was "Lola Basyang"
    from the popular Liwayway series he created entitled Mga
    Kuwento ni Lola Basyang”.
    Some of his Tagalog Zarzuela are Walang Sugat, Huling
    Pati, Minda Mora, Mga Bihag ni Cupido, Mga Pusong Dakila, RIP, Ang Kalupi and etc.

    Theme:
    Ang Kalupi by Severino Reyes is all about a mother who acussed a poor boy
    robbering his wallet that leads the his death by then.

    Plot:
    It happened at the Public Market of Tondo.

    Characters:

    Aling Marta: Mother of a graduating high school student


    Poor Boy: the one who was accused as a thief
    Police: the one who fixed the case
    Aling Godyang: the vendor whom Aling Marta bought their lunch
    Daughter: the high school graduating student
    Husband: husband of Aling Marta who started the whole conflict

    Conclusion:
    I therefore conclude that the story is in the form of Formalism.It is raw material
    that processed as a narrative. It was made with chronological series of happenings.It was
    well organized from top to bottom.The story was really nice. It was very sentimental
