The University of the Philippines Babaylan is the leading lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) students' support group in all campuses of the State University. Established in 1992, UP Babaylan seeks to consolidate the LGBT community in the University of the Philippines for the effective advocacy of our rights both in the University and in the national sphere. In pursuit of its goals as a support and advocacy group, UP Babaylan undertakes a number of activities, to wit: Support services for LGBT students; Conferences, symposia and group discussions on LGBT issues; LGBT rights advocacy; Gender sensitivity workshops; and networking with national and international LGBT organizations. In line with our goals and objectives, the organization will hold Its Recruitment week on June 21 22, 2011. We would like to ask for your permission to use the Math Building covered walk as the venue of the said activity. For any questions you may contact the undersigned person. Thank you very much.
