NOTE 2 TRIPPING ESS TR YELLOW BANDED CB AT 742VU PANEL WILL BRING ON AN ECAM MSG WHICH CANNOT BE RESET ON INTRODUCTION OF POWER, AND NEED TO BE RESET THRU CMC TEST MODE.

ETOPS SERVICE CHECK TECHNICAL LOGS AND REPORTS a. REVIEW AND DISCUSS WITH CREW, THE MR1 AND CABIN LOG ENTRIES AND INITIATE FOLLOW-UP ACTION WHERE NECESSARY. b. REVIEW NTC AND MR 2 ENTRIES, INITIATE FOLLOW-UP ACTION WHERE NECESSARY. c. READ / REVIEW SERVICING REPORTS (FROM THE MCDU) AND THE PROGRAMMING AND INDICATION MODULE (PIM) OF THE FORWARD ATTENDANTS PANEL (FAP) AND ACTION ACCORDINGLY.

ETOPS SERVICE CHECK ECAM MAINTENANCE STATUS FAULTS. a. CONFIRM ECAM MAINTENANCE STATUS FAULTS CORRELATE WITH THE POST FLIGHT REPORT FAULTS AND ACTION ACCORDINGLY. b. IF ECAM MAINTENANCE STATUS FAULT IS TRANSFERRED TO MR2, STATE IN MR1 AND MR2 ECAM MAINTENANCE STATUS FAULT FOLLOWED BY DEFECT DETAILS. MANAGEMENT OF THESE MESSAGES IS TO BE HANDLED BY THE TROUBLE SHOOTING MANUAL (TSM) AND SHOULD BE RECTIFIED WITHIN THE TIME SCALED DEFINED IN THE TSM.REF MEL 01-00 PG 16

ETOPS SERVICE CHECK APU OIL NOTE: FOR 9M-XAA USE ONLY BPTO 2380 AND FOR 9M-XXA AND ONWARDS USE BP TURBO OIL 2197 a. b. c. CHECK ECAM APU PAGE FOR THE APU OIL LEVEL STATUS. CHECK NO OIL FILTER CLOG (APU MAINTENANCE STATUS ON ECAM). IF THE LOW OIL LEVEL MESSAGE APPEARS, OIL TOP-UP IS REQUIRED. REPLENISH TO FULL QUANTITY. d. RECORD THE AMOUNT OF OIL UPLIFTED IN MR1. (RECORD NIL IF THERE IS NIL OIL UPLIFTED) e. CALCULATE THE APU OIL CONSUMPTION RATE AS PER AMM CHAPTER 12-13-49. RECORD OIL CONSUMPTION RATE IN MR1 IF OIL IS UPLIFTED (ETOPS). RAISE NTC TO NOTE THE DATE AND APU HOUR METER AT EACH OIL TOP-UP AND CANCEL THE PREVIOUS NTC RAISED. OIL CONSUMPTION RATE LIMIT IS 0.3 QUARTS / APU HR. WITH PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASED, CHECK THE ALTERNATE PARKING BRAKE ACCUMULATORS NITROGEN CHARGE PRESSURE FOR CORRECT PRESSURE (BY READING THE GAUGES) BEFORE CHARGING. INSTALL BYPASS PIN AT NOSE WHEEL STEERING AND ENSURE RED STREAMER IS VISIBLE. b. ENSURE EXTERNAL POWER CABLES AND LOADING BRIDGE ARE DETACHED (IF APPLICABLE) c. PREPARE AIRCRAFT FOR DEPARTURE AND EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE, OBSERVE THE SAFETY PRECAUTION. d. REMOVE CHOCKS FROM WHEELS AND COMMENCE PUSH BACK, AFTER ADVISED BY COCKPIT. e. UPON COMPLETION OF PUSH BACK AND AFTER BRAKE SET, PLACE CHOCKS AT FWD OF NOSE WHEEL. f. DISCONNECT TOW BAR AND REMOVE STERRING BY PASS PIN AND PROVIDE CLEARANCE FOR ENGINE START. g.
