Vertical & horizontal guides use to determine where you want to place an object.
Slides appear in the center of the window, where you can create your presentation. Placeholder holds the object in your slides, use to hold text, clip arts charts & more. Notes Section- are to create notes to yourself.
Status bar- generally appear at the buttom of the window, display the no. of the slide and the name of template or name of background. View button- appear near button of the screen. normal view- split your screen in the 3 major section. Outline & slide tabs- are on the left slides of your window. It enables to shift between diff. ways of viewing slides. Slide pane- shows a large view of your slides you are currently working. Note area- appears below pane. Slide sorter view- shows the thumbnails of all you can easily add, delete, or change order of your slides. Slide show view- when you want to view your slide as they look in final presentation. OPERATION WHEN SLIDE SHOW VIEW Esc- Returns you to the view you were using previously.
Left clicking- Moves you to the next slide or animation effect. When you reach the last slide, you automatically return to your previous view. Right Clicking- Opens a pop-up menu. You can use this menu to navigate the slides, add speaker notes, select a pointer, and mark your presentation.
Zooming in- makes the window larger. Zooming out- makes the window smaller.
Minimize button- to remove a window from view. Maximize button- to cause a window to full the size. Close button- to exit the window. 4 types of Animation Entrance- determined the manner of an object appears on a slide. Emphasis- does nothing to draw attention to a object. Exit- determined the manner of an objects leave on a slide. Motion path- determined how on object leave on a slide. CREATING POWERPOINT PRESENTATION 1. Create a title slide 2. Create a new slide 3.
