Bivariate Hypothesis: The age of an individual directly affects the type of music a subject likes. The older a person, the less likely they are to like rap music or have knowledge of its existence. In this way, a larger percentage of respondents liked rap.

Multivariate Hypothesis: The age of an individual directly affects the type of music a subject likes. The older the individual is the less likely they are to like rap and have knowledge of its existence.

Bivariate Discussion: The older an individual is the greater the likelihood he or she will dislike rap or not know of its existence. 35% of the respondents over the age of 40 compared to the majority of the respondents under the age of 39.

Multivariate Discussion: The beneficial effects of the knowledge of rap music were greater for those under the age of 39.The majority of those under 39 years of age had knowledge of rap music.
