Used and adapted multiple curriculums with Common Core State Standards (CCSS) including Everyday Math, Reading Street, and Battle Creek Science. Created standards based lessons using the CCSS and Michigan Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCEs). Designed and taught unit plans in the core content areas of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Designed pre-assessments and formative assessments to identify student learning needs and to increase student achievement. Differentiated lessons, group activities, and assignments to meet students academic, social, physical, and linguistic needs. Collaborated with Title 1 teachers, school social worker, and school resource room teacher to help students meet academic and behavioral goals. Administered and assessed data gained from Math Computation (M-Comp), Math Concepts and Applications (M-CAP), and AIMSweb.
