    Uniplay-CG Installation Guide

    Step 1:
    Install The Dot-Net Framework 3.5 SP1 (if your OS is Windows 7 SP1 then there is no requirement as its pre-installed, so you can directly Jump to Step 2 You can download from below link :

    Step 2:
    Download & Install MySQL Server 5.5.17 for below link http://www.uniplay.tv/downloads/mysql-5.5.17-win32.zip

    (Choose Complete)

    (Set Password for MySQL Server)

    While installation it will ask for the USER and PASSWORD" Let the User as default (root) and set you own password in the password field.

    Step 3:
    Install MySQL Connector
    Download & install MySQL Dot-Net Data Connector Library Installer from below link:

    Download and Install DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) (Download Link Below) http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109

    (Download & Install Microsoft Direct-X SDK Runtime Installer)

    Step 5: Final Step


    (For Having Demo Installer of Uniplay-CG you need to login to Member Area>>Download>>Demo Setup Download)

    Extract the file Uniplay-CG -Setup-Demo -xx-xxx-xxxx.zip which you already downloaded, now install Uniplay-CG Demo Setup.

    After installing the setup Restart the system and run the Uniplay-CG (Shortcut on the Desktop).

    On First Run of Application it will ask you for Installing Database Tables in MySQL Database, just enter the password which you already set for the MySQL Server in STEP 2 and click INSTALL DATABASE. It will ask you for restart the Application.

    (Insert password you set while installing MySQL Server in Step 2)

    (Select IP of your PC and set the Port1 & Port2 )

    Now Restart Uniplay-CG, Now Uniplay-CG has been configured, you can start using Uniplay-CG Application. There is a Video Tutorial for how to use Uniplay-CG basic operation like inserting media clips as filler item or making playlist and inserting commercials/promos, creating tickers, adding Weather Cities and configuring Clock for overlay. Please note Always "Run Application as Administrator" in Windows 7 x86/x64 or Disable UAC under

    Control Panel Area in Windows 7. Please Refer to below link for how to Disable UAC in Windows 7 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/975787 Also Ensure Proper Direct-show Decoder Filter Installed, for respective Media File you want to playback. you can use below mentioned Decoder Pack.
