EXECUITIVE SUMMARY

As a part of course MBA (Master in Business Administration) from ASMs IPS (Institute Of Professional Studies) , PUNE . I had undergone eight weeks training at rashtriya chemicals and fertilizers limited. The duration of the project was 2 months i.e. 15/5/2012 to 15/7/2012. This had developed mu analytical skills. Training is considered as more of retention tool than a cost. Human resource is a source of competitive advantage for all organizations. Therefore, the training system has been changed to create a smarter workforce and yield the best results. With increase in competition, every company wants to optimize the utilization of its resources to yield the maximum possible results. Training is required in every field be it Sales, Marketing, Human Resource, Relationship building, Logistics, Production, Engineering, etc. It is now a business effective tool and is linked with the business outcome. Today, India is a part of milieu that is not only verging on rapidly making headway, but also hurls at its employees newer challenges, methodologies and work dynamics to cope with. For the fittest to survive in this advanced corporate scenario, in addition to individual dexterity and determination, one must be well-trained, so as to skillfully tackle corporate roadblocks to blend well into the changing times. Thus, training and development has come to become an imperative cog in an organizations wheel. Training is commonly considered only for new employees, but the most successful institutions realize that ongoing training for existing employees result in measurable results for the company. It is the very best investment any company can make in its employees. The importance of training cannot be undermined in any organization. Be it a new recruit or a long standing employee, with appropriate training, an organization can create a good growth track for them. An organization that is willing to invest in training and gives importance to learning and development effort is sure to succeed in the long run. As the dynamics of the corporate world is changing radically, companies will need to re-invent their training strategies to stay ahead in this competitive environment. For employees, well, they can look forward to some rock-climbing while learning to understand customer behaviour.

Rational of my study of Training and Development in RCF Ltd. was to find out the facts about the need analysis and need assessment process, task analysis at RCF Ltd. I have also tried to go through the training and development contents and methodologies of imparting training at RCF Ltd. Ultimately I have also tried to ascertain the facts about the affect of training on the job. RCF has a in-house training department. Top management is always sensitive and ready to allocation budget for the cause of training of employees. So that skill gap of employees can be bridged as per technology up gradation and process improvement. So that objectivity of training can be achieved in a time bound limits and it leads to employees job satisfaction and improved production with quality product and optimum cost.
