Jumeirah Dhevanafushi is an island resort in the heart of Indian Ocean. The 38 all-suite property offers a choice of breathtaking views, over island and ocean. The Ocean Pearls is a cluster of water villas a mere 800 meters from the main island, suspended on platforms above the most iridescent sea in the world. Learning & Development Manager/ Business Excellence:

We require an experienced L&D Manager with a passion for driving excellence to excel in our service delivery, deliver L&D programs for middle management and line colleagues, facilitate the implementation and consistent achievement of the L&D processes and take responsibility for departmental trainers. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role with five star international resorts/hotels Educated to degree-level or above in a relevant discipline with appropriate professional qualifications and up to date professional knowledge Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and influence at all levels. Take initiative and personal responsibility to achieve results.
Finance Manager:
We seek a professional Finance Manager to assist our Financial Controller in the financial management of all resort functions. This would include the administering of accounting policies and procedures, preparing and interpreting financial statements and management reports as well as budgetary controls. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience at this level with luxury resorts with a degree in accounting and be tech savvy. Proficiency in Fidelio, Opera, Micros, MC, Sun and POS systems are necessary. Excellent planning, organizing and leadership skills to lead and develop the team. Good problem solving skills, and island experience a definite advantage.
Purchasing Manager:
We require a Purchasing Manger to plan and control the activities of all procurement to ensure value for money in a cost effective and efficient way in accordance with company standards. The successful candidate will have held the position in the Maldives in international resorts, possess excellent negotiation and communicative skills and effectively manage external agencies, suppliers and internal colleague requests. Excellent knowledge of suppliers, customs processes, logistics within Maldives High level of computer knowledge and application in MS Office, Materials Control Good command of English
Colleague Services Co-ordinator:

We seek a person to assist HR with colleague facilities including staff bar and sporting activities. Applicants must have an outgoing personality, sports minded to organize competitions, and monitor the colleague accommodation with regards to cleanliness and maintenance. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role with five star international resorts/hotels background. Be sociable and be proactive in developing and improving services towards colleague welfare.
Commis Chef:
We urgently require Chef with minimum 2 years experience in a similar role with five star international resorts/hotels background.
Stores Assistant (Maldivian only):

We urgently require a well qualified Store Assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience with five star resorts or other customer service related industry to assist in administering all store control related processing activities to ensure that the appropriate internal control procedures are followed effectively. The successful candidate will be: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Excel and Material control system Organized and able to multi-task Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Good command of English
