    FINISHED QUILT SIZE 37 x 44 Finished Block Size 6 x 6 Measurements include seam allowance. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated. FABRIC REQUIREMENTS 1/4 yard (10 cm) blue main (C3140 Blue) yard (20 cm) pink main (C3140 Pink) 1/4 yard (10 cm) red hearts (C3141 Red) 1/4 yard (10 cm) white hearts (C3141 White) 1/4 yard (10 cm) pink strawberries (C3142 Pink) 1/4 yard (10 cm) white strawberries (C3142 White) 1/4 yard (10 cm) blue petals (C3143 Blue) 1/4 yard (10 cm) red petals (C3143 Red) 1/4 yard (10 cm) blue stripes (C3144 Blue) 1/4 yard (10 cm) pink stripes (C3144 Pink) 1/4 yard (10 cm) pink love (C3145 Pink) 1 yard (90 cm) clean white solid (C100-01 Clean White) yard (40 cm) cotton candy shade (C200-80 Cotton Candy) 5/8 yard (50 cm) blue gingham (C450-20 Aqua Medium Gingham) Binding yard (40 cm) Backing 13/8 yards (1.1 m) Note: Could use a 5 square for each heart or substitute a fat quarter for the yard cuts. CUTTING REQUIREMENTS Please read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Heart Block Using the template provided cut 20 hearts from the following prints: 2-blue main, 2-pink main, 2-red hearts, 2-white hearts, 2-pink strawberries 2-white strawberries, 2-blue petals, 2-red petals, 1-blue stripes 1-pink stripes, 2-pink love Add a seam allowance if necessary for your favorite method of appliqu. Cut 20 squares 6 x 6 from clean white solid Posts Cut 30 squares 1 x 1 from clean white solid Sashing Cut 49 rectangles 1 x 6 from cotton candy shade Border 1 Cut 4 strips 4 x WOF from small blue gingham QUILT ASSEMBLY Refer to quilt photo for placement of blocks. Heart Block Use your favorite method of appliqu. Refer to quilt photo for placement of heart. Posts and Sashing Sew a clean white 1 square to a cotton candy shade 1 x 6 rectangle. Repeat to make a row with 5 square posts and 4 sashing rectangles. Make 6 rows labeled A. Sashing and Blocks Refer to quilt photo for placement of blocks. Sew a cotton candy shade 1 x 6 rectangle to a Heart Block. Repeat to make a row with 5 sashing rectangles and 4 blocks. Make 5 rows labeled B. Quilt Center Assembly See quilt photo for row placement. Lay out rows A and B. Sew rows together to complete the center of the quilt. Borders Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew side borders first. Border 1 Side borders should be 36. Top and bottom borders should be 37. Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the Sweetcakes Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
