Instructions-
- Read all instructions carefully before cutting.
- Use 1/4” seam allowance unless otherwise stated.
- Press seam allowance as shown by arrows.
- I recommend starching fabric before cutting. It will make cutting and
sewing easier, especially when working with smaller pieces.
- WOF means width of fabric (based on 42” wide fabric). Fabric Diagram

Block Assembly
Step 3
Follow the steps below to assemble both size blocks.
Instructions shown are for the assembly of the 12”
block. *Note that some of the 6” block units can look B
slightly different. Use 1/4” seam allowance and press
the seams as shown by arrows.

Step 1
draw diagonal line from
corner to corner; stitch 1/4”
away along each side
* Match point to seam for placement. Turn, press
& trim.

trim HST’s to size


6” block –1 1/2” square
12” block – 2 3/4” square
* Arrange & complete 2 units as pictured.
Complete 2 HST’s

Step 4 * Continue adding triangles as pictured, pressing


seam allowance outward.

*Arrange and join all pieces together. Press seams in 12” block- 6 1/2” square
direction and trim to size.
