Bitterness & Hatred

Kings spirit? And the women singing and dancing to meet Saul hath sang to one another that Saul slain his thousands and David his ten thousands. 1 Sam 18: 5-9. Saul instantly developed an euphorbia of restlessness, emotional distress and spiritual anger against David a development that forever shut off peace, joy and stability from the life of King Saul until he finally, by his own sword, killed himself. Haman, the son of Hamedatha became incensed against the refusal of Mordecai the son of Jair to pay homage to him. Bitterness and hatred, which are indeed murderous emotional intoxicants, spurred Haman into plotting a total extermination of the entire Jewish population in the kingdom of Ahauerus. But then, a surprising twist was ordained by Heaven and Haman himself became the victim of the diabolical death penalty plotted by him against Mordecai. Esther 4 & 5. Bitterness is a toxin that we prepare for someone else, but then drink ourselves. It is a concentrated dose of emotional poison, often one that we carefully nurture and grow over the course of years against those who are often innocent of our charge. It is a major sin against God and a confrontation against His consuming judgment. When we are possessed by these cancerous elements, our peace of mind is sacrificed, our joy is jettisoned, our spiritual anchorage is now of the devil, and our household is, consequently, arraigned before Gods retributive verdict. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when passing through the corridor of life made Himself a living sacrifice, a symbol of divine love and humility and a servant to all. The dead were raised, the blind, lame, deaf and dumb were restored, the broken hearted relieved and those in captivity were delivered. Yet he was hated with passion by the chief priests and the Pharisees. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no excuse for their sins. He that hated me hated my Father also. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law. They hated me without a cause. John 15: 22-25. The ruthlessness of bitterness and hatred was exhibited on the Friday of crucifixion when Pilate was requested to release Barnabas the armed robber and murderer and crucify Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. They outrageously went further; Let His blood be on us and our children. It was a product of murderous envy that has left Israel with a generational legacy of bloodshed. Matt 27: 15-. When you have seeds of bitterness and hatred, you have unwittingly chosen the portion of Cain, Saul, Haman and the Pharisees. It is a seed of eternal damnation. The seed can never produce any fruit of joy or peace for you but a fruit of regret and lamentation. It is like a wave of the sea that knows no permanent peace. Examine your system critically today. If you find the seeds of bitterness and hatred within your system, simply uproot it totally, replace them with seeds of love, peace and forgiveness and the good Lord shall forgive all your past sins and grant you a new lease of life in Christ Jesus. This life is too short. Why would you live your life in turbulence of hatred and also end up in hell. Hebrew 12: 14-15 states, Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Looking diligently lest any man fall of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. Removal of bitterness and hatred from your life today is not an option. May the good Rabboni grant you the spirit of discernment and vision to understand His ways and the courage to apply His truth in developing a godly personality.
