Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES) runs 30 Schools/ Junior Colleges located at 16
centres in different parts of India. The medium of instruction is English in 28 Schools.
The current recruitment drive is for filling up the anticipated vacancies. The pay and
allowances are as per Government Rules. The pay scales as recommended in Part-B of 6th
pay commission recommendations are under consideration. Accommodation and medical
facilities are available at most of the centres. AEES also provides opportunities for
professional advancement to meritorious teachers.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
The details regarding anticipated vacancies, eligibility criteria, age relaxation, mode of
selection etc are given below. The information is also available on the website of AEES
(www.aees.gov.in)

1.1 INFORMATION FOR ALL POSTS:

(i) MA Ed/ M Sc Ed/BA Ed/B Sc Ed/ from NIE with desired subjects (Table 2)
are also eligible.
(ii) Qualifying Degree/Diploma should be from a recognized university with a
minimum of 50% aggregate marks. English as subject in class XII is
mandatory for all posts.
(iii) Teaching qualification must be B Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized
university wherever required.
(iv) Competence to teach the concerned subjects (except Hindi/Sanskrit) through
English medium is required. Proficiency in Hindi is desirable.
(v) Teaching Experience in an English Medium School/College and knowledge of
computer operations are desirable.
(vi) Candidates whose examinations results are awaited may also apply. They will
be considered, if selected, subject to submitting proof of acquiring desired
qualifications at the time of interview.
(vii) The reservation of vacancies for SC, ST, OBC and Physically and Visually
challenged candidates will be as per the rules of the Government of India.

1.2 AGE RELAXATION:

THAT IS, IF A PERSON IS ELIGIBLE FOR MORE THAN ONE
CONCESSION, ONLY ONE OF THE CONCESSIONS OF THE HIGHEST
PERMISSIBLE LIMIT, WILL BE GRANTED.

2. MODE OF SELECTION:
(i) Screening by conducting a written test for the subject concerned in English. The
medium of written test will be in English. However for the candidates for the post
of TGT (Hindi/Sanskrit), the written test will be conducted in Hindi.
(ii) Short listed candidates will be called for aptitude/proficiency/skill test and
personal interview.

2.1 WRITTEN TEST:


For all the advertised posts written test shall be held at the 4 zonal centres of AEES
(Table 3). The exact date, venue and other details will be communicated with the
admit card.

2.2 Aptitude/Proficiency/Skill Test and Personal Interview for all the Posts will be held at
Mumbai. However, the candidates have an option to choose the zonal centre for the
written test. Eligible outstation SC/ST candidates will be paid to and fro second class
train or ordinary ST bus fare by shortest route as per Government rules when called
for interview.

HOW TO APPLY:

(i) Those who fulfill the eligibility conditions may apply in the prescribed format to
Chief Administrative Officer enclosing a Demand Draft (only) of Rs. 100/- (Rs.
One Hundred Only-Non Refundable) drawn in favour of Atomic Energy Education
Society payable at Mumbai within 15 days of publication of this advertisement.
NO FEE IS REQUIRED TO BE PAID BY SC/ST/PH CANDIDATES.

(ii) Application format is available in AEES website also.

(iii) The jurisdiction for all legal matter for this recruitment will be Mumbai and legal
cases filed (if any) in other courts will not be maintainable.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES:

1. Fill 2 copies of the application form (A4size), affix photographs and sign across
on both and mail these with one set of enclosures through proper channel, if
applicable, to Chief Administrative Officer, AEES, Central Office, (AECS-6,
western Sector), Anushaktinagar, Mumbai-400 094 superscribing the post
applied for on the envelope.
2. One copy of the application form duly stamped by the Atomic Energy Education
Society will be sent back to the candidates as the ‘Admit Card’ which should be
produced at the time of written test/interview.
3. Since the examination for the posts of PGT and TGT will be held on consecutive
days, a candidate cannot appear for other subjects in the same category of post.
Therefore, at the most, a candidate can apply for one post in PGT and one in
TGT. Candidates are advised to apply only for one post in each category.
However, a candidate may apply separately for the two posts (PGT and TGT)
along with prescribed fee for each and necessary enclosures for each post in
separate envelopes. Post code for all the posts should be indicated clearly.
4. In the case of blind candidates who cannot write on their own, guide/scribe will
be arranged on advance intimation of 15 days at the centre to assist such
candidates in writing the answers on their behalf. 30 minutes extra time will be
given to such candidates.
5. Candidates serving in any recognized institution/organization/autonomous body
of Central Govt./State Govt. must apply through proper channel. They will also be
required to produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of the interview.
However, a candidate may send an advance copy (along with the demand draft) so
as to reach the above-mentioned address before the last date. The advance
applications will be considered provisionally subject to the condition that the
applications sent through proper channel are invariably received by the last date.
6. The application should reach this office within 15 days of the publication of
this advertisement.
7. The AEES reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post(s) at any time
without giving any reason. The number of vacancies is subject to change.

8. Mere eligibility will not entitle a candidate for being called for written test and
interview. Applications without having the required details or without necessary
documents or received after the last date will not be considered.
9. The SC/ST candidates should submit a copy of required caste certificate in the
prescribed proforma with the application.
10. The OBC candidates must produce a certificate in the prescribed proforma as is
issued for employment in Central Govt. offices and they should not be from the
creamy layer.
11. For availing of the concession admissible to a blind candidate, the candidate
concerned should produce a certificate in the prescribed proforma from a Medical
Board constituted by a Central / State Govt. along with his application for the
Main Examination.
12. The concession admissible to the blind candidates shall not be admissible to those
suffering from Myopia.
13. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates.

14. MOBILE PHONES BANNED

14.1 Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed
inside the premises where the examination is conducted.
14.2 It is also important to note that candidates are not permitted to use calculators.
They should not therefore bring the same inside the Examination Hall.
14.3 Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items
including mobile phones / pagers/Calculator to the venue of the examination, as
arrangements for safe keeping cannot be assured.

15 CORRESPONDENCE WITH AEES.

15.1 The AEES will not enter into any correspondence with the candidates about their
candidature except in the following cases.
(i) Every candidate for this examination will be informed at the earliest possible
date of the result of his application. Admit Cards, indicating the Roll Nos.
will be issued to the candidates who are admitted to the examination. The
Admit Card will bear the photograph of the candidate. If the candidate does
not receive his Admit Card or any other communication regarding his
candidature for the examination three weeks before the commencement of
the examination, he should at once contact AEES. On receipt of such a
communication, Admit Card or a duplicate copy thereto will be issued to the
admitted candidate. Information in this regard can also be obtained from the
concerned zonal centres of AEES one day before the date of examination.

(ii) No candidate will ordinarily be allowed to take the examination unless he


holds an Admit Card for the examination. On the receipt of Admit Card,
check it carefully and bring discrepancies / errors, if any, to the notice of
AEES immediately.
