    Robert Robinson has been serving as Custodian at First Baptist for over 33 years.

    Robert will be retiring effective April 30, 2014. I know you will want to take time during this month to thank Robert for all he has done. Annie Armstrong Ingathering for North American Missions will be gathered on Sunday Morning, April 13. Our goal is $7500 for this offering. Pray now as to what God would have you give and come prepared to give on the 13th. Holy Week Services will begin at noon on Monday, April 14. Please watch your Builder for information on locations for the noon luncheons. Remember, we will host the Thursday luncheon for Holy Week. Come and share a meal and devotional each day. Easter Sunrise Service, 7 AM, April 20. We will gather on the Tarmac at the airport as we have done in years past. Our service will begin at 7AM. There is one change this year. We are asking that if you have chairs you can bring for you and your family to please bring them. We will still have some chairs set up for those who don't have them but we would like to take fewer chairs to the airport. I began my ninth year as your Pastor on April 1. We have seen some highs and lows in those nine years. I am afraid that our attendance and offerings are at a low at this time. Please honor your commitment to God and His church at this time.     EASTER MUSICAL SHARED TWICE


    In addition to sharing our Easter Musical on the traditional date of Palm Sunday evening, April 13, the Chancel Choir will present the worship musical AMAZING GRACE, MY CHAINS ARE GONE on Saturday April 12. The services will begin at 6:30 PM both evenings. Please make a point to invite your Christian friends, who have Sunday evening commitments at their churches, to join us that Saturday evening. You may come on both evenings and bring friends and family to each. Join us for a blessing this Easter season.

    Easter Egg Hunt AND Picnic AND Softball Game!


    April 19th John Johnson Elementary 11 am- Egg Hunt 11:45 am Bring your own picnic lunch 12:30 Church wide-Co-ed/Co-Age Softball Game *There will be kites, bubbles and playground time for the littlest ones during the game. WE NEED YOU! I am on the hunt for Easter Egg Hunt volunteers! Will you help hide eggs? Will you help set up? We will meet at John Johnson at 10 am. Call the office to sign up today! WE NEED EGGS! Please donate candy filled eggs to be turned in prior to the big hunt. Candy should be individually wrapped (no chocolate, please). Please drop them off by the church office.

    The Nix Pond 3047 Lake Douglas Rd Join us as we go fishin'! Geared to ages 3-5th grade, boys and girls. Please bring mommy or daddy along. Hot dog and chip lunch with dessert and kool-aid provided at the Cottles House (just a small hike away) at noon. Bring your own pole and bait.     SAINTS ALIVE
    Last Sunday evening, our Saints Alive Choir shared a great medley about heaven, featuring the song Beulah Land. They do a great job each time they sing. I could almost taste the manna! Calendar Note: Remember to mark Sunday, June 29th on your calendars. Weve been invited to share a program of music for 3 churches who will meet at Eldoreno Baptist Church for a 5th Sunday Night Sing!
