Production Causing Environment Change

Pollution has been a major problem throughout the world and recently, many people around the world have made many claims about the causes. The United States seems to be a major problem behind the constant problem of pollution and tensions continue to rise throughout the countries due to the United States constant dumping of waste. The disaster of pollution started out when the United States went into an economic collapse near the end 2021. This led to the United States starting to mass produce weapons and products to help bring the economy back. The United States has not considered the dangers that Pollution can put on our environment.

In 2014, the Great Pacific Trash Island was an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean filled with trash. It was about the size of Texas at the time. Now this island is currently at the size of about half of the United States and is continuing to grow. It is altering the way that these fish and species live and is killing out many different animals. It is currently unhealthy to eat any type of fish from most of the Pacific Ocean due to all this toxic waste This is a picture of a recent oil spill that happened on October 4, 2021, o! the coast of California. and is starting to cause mutations on these different species. Over 20 different fish species have already gone extinct in the Pacific Ocean and about 50 different fish species have gone endangered within the past seven years. People need to change the way they live and it needs to happen fast because the world is in danger. People can help in many different ways and some are by using electric vehicles, recycling trash and bottles, and protesting against the government dumping waste in other countries. Help put a stop to this and support us now.

Another pollution problem within the last decade is the Radiation leak into the Pacific Ocean. In 2011, the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant released radioactive isotopes that destroyed the oceans ecosystem. Although the radiation is no longer a problem in our waters, it is something that the world has to keep an eye on. The radiation released was a serious problem and in some cases was even seen off the coast of California. The spill showed the world that something done in one country can affect another country all the way on the other side of the world. Radiation is a serious problem and is making the fish and other life unhealthy to eat. It is putting the entire habitat at risk and we must prevent this from happening again. After this event, countries such as the United States started moving their Nuclear Power Plants to safer locations. In 2017, the United States moved 16 Power Plants along the coasts and changed their locations to safe places. Other countries have also started moving these power plants and there have been no spillages since.
This is a new power plant that was originally o! the coast of California and is now in a safer location in central California.

Recently, we have experienced an Oil Spill off the coast of Brazil. The spill happened on November 6, 2022. Any fish, up to this moment, is unhealthy to eat and it has already destroyed up to 30% of the reefs off of Brazils coast. This is the third oil spill this year and the world has to put an end to this. Oil Spills are becoming a bigger problem lately and is really affecting our oceans and sea life.
The oil is a!ecting the life and is killing many di!erent animals.
This was the oil spill that happened o! the coast of Brazil.
Pollution has become a major problem throughout the world and the government needs to better job at enforcing ways to prevent it from happening. If we recycle, produce less, find safer ways to get oil, and move power plants to safer locations, then the world will become a better place physically.
