15. Reinstall the main case and adapter case oil pans with new pan gaskets and new bolts. Torque the bolts to 11 Nm (97 lb-in). 16. Reinstall the third crossmember, and torque its bolts to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft). 17. Remove the jack stand from the transfer case. 18. Reinstall the transmissions two rear mount nuts, and torque them to 41 Nm (30 lb-ft). 19. Reinstall the oxygen sensor harness clips. 20. Reinstall the transfer protector, and torque the bolts to 37 Nm (27 lb-ft). 21. Put a new gasket on the transmission drain plug, lubricate the gasket with clean ATF; then reinstall the plug, and torque it to 38 Nm (28 lb-ft). 22. Lower the vehicle, and reconnect the negative cable to the battery. 23. Connect the PGM Tester to monitor ATF temperature, then start the engine. With the engine still running, raise the vehicle.

Raise the vehicle, and remove the fill plug. 27. Let the engine idle until the ATF temperature is 90 to 135F (32 to 57C). As the temperature of the ATF increases, it will drip out the fill hole until the correct level is reached. 28. Reinstall the fill plug with a new gasket, and torque the plug to 38 Nm (28 lb-ft). 29. Enter the radio station presets, and set the clock.
