    Specifications
    Portable Solids Handling Pump
    Capacity up to 400 GPM, heads up to 140 ft.
    Cable. Standard 16 m (50 ft.) of SubCab cable.
    Other lengths available.
    Junction Chamber. Cable entry incorporates a strain relief and grommet
    controlled compression sealing. Between the junction box and stator
    housing a rubber gland provides additional seal protection of the
    motor.
    Pump Housing.
    DS-3080.211: Aluminum alloy;
    DS-3080.311: High strength, cast iron ASTM A48-76 No. 40B body.
    Static seals are leakproof Nitrile rubber O rings in precision machined
    grooves, with controlled compression.
    Shaft. Stainless steel.
    Motor. Air filled, NEMA design B with class H (180C) insulation; 2 pole,
    3400 rpm (High head HT and Super high head ST) versions; 4 pole,
    1875 rpm (High Volume LT version). Shrink-fit to the motor housing.
    Allows at least 10 starts per hour. Built-in thermal sensors for additional
    motor overload protection.
    Bearings. Upper: single row ball bearing. Lower: single row ball
    bearing (MT) or double row angular contact ball bearings in tandem
    (HT, ST).
    Shaft Seals. Independent double face seals running in environmentally
    friendly, FDA approved (Standard #172.878) lubricant. Upper seal:
    tungsten carbide/carbon. Lower seal: tungsten carbide/tungsten
    carbide. Oil quantity: 1.2 pints (0.6 l).
    Impeller. Vortex type. Maximum particle size: 1-1/2".
    Wear Parts. The pump is equipped with a replaceable lining. Materials:
    Polyurethane (Polylife) or Nitrile rubber.
    Fasteners. Stainless steel AISI 304.

    DS-3080 is ideal for pumping abrasive slurries
    in open pit mines, sewage works, etc. Cast iron
    version DS-3080.311 provides protection against
    mild corrosive pumped liquids (6-13 pH).
