VICTORY THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD OUR FAITH

BREAK FORTH INTO SINGING AND CRY ALOUD

DO YOU BELIEVE
And God blessed them and said unto them, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth
and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over every
living thing that moves upon the earth. Gen 1:28.3
According to Gen 1:21 Adam was created as male and female, they were blessed, and given
authority by God over the works of his hand. But Adam sinned and it repented God for creating man
because the heart of man was full of wickedness. Therefore in Gen 6:5- 6, God decided to wipe off the
wicked race with flood, yet he preserved the family of NOAH, before the flood God remembered the
pronounced blessings on the human race, that they must be fruitful and they must multiply, he
therefore told Noah to bring in the creatures male and female, along with his sons and daughters in-
law into the Ark. After the flood God renewed his blessing, And God blessed Noah and his sons and
said unto them, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. ( Gen 9:1 and 7) but the subduing
aspect was not pronounced. This blessing has remained till date. God renewed the blessings because
in Is. 54:8, 9 he says In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting
kindness will I have mercy on thee saith the LORD thy Redeemer. For this is as the waters of Noah
unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I
sworn that I would not be worth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
Man has done wickedly since Adam to Noah but God is graciously merciful to our short
comings even till today. As Gods creation we are to ask for the forgiveness of all our transgressions
and iniquities employing the blood of Jesus Christ so that our eyes will be opened and our heart will
sing believing in the word of God written by Isaiah. For thou shall break forth on the right hand and
on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles and make the desolate cities to be inhabited Is.
54:3. (Believe it and sing it). For a woman waiting on God for the fruit of the womb, there are many
reasons to sing and cry aloud Isaiah chapter 54 gave more hope especially to a woman expecting
children from God. They are Gods words of promise, hope and faith for his own children. There are
words of life for the daughters of God. For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven, and
returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth bud, that it may give seed to
the sower, and bread to the eater; so shall my word be, that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not
return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing
whereto I sent it. Is. 55:10.
Holding on to Gods word concerning any issue in life will make it to materialize, we must
see the vision, Habakkuk 2:1-2 visualize the incidence, exercise faith write it down run with it, faith is
the victory that overcomes. It is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1. See it every day; perceive it all around you and it will surely manifest physically. For
God is a master planner, he has planned the future long ago in advance, in ways and manners that we
cannot understand. He has placed the blessing of fruition on man (Gen. 1:28, Gen. 9:1) that no power
can change it. If you are then waiting for the fruit of the womb, God has a purpose for it. For his
thoughts are not our thoughts, and his ways are not our ways. For as the heavens are higher than the
earth, so are Gods ways higher than our ways and his thoughts than our thoughts Is. 55:8 and 9.
Gods will is first and foremost to bring us closer to him in fellowship. He wants rapport with you so
that you will know him and the power of his resurrection, he will therefore use you as a channel to
produce godly seeds, seeds that are heaven bound, propagating the gospel of Christ and expanding the
kingdom of our God.
How close are you to your creator? If you are not born again, you are yet under the wrath of
God, you have refused the only begotten of the father, you are cut off from the common wealth of
Israel, (Eph. 2:12) from whom all the blessings and promises emanates, you are doomed. Yet it is
never too late, you can cry to God to save you now, through his son Jesus Christ and be reconciled to
Him.
To be close to God, You will first repent your sins and then confess Jesus Christ as your Lord
and Savior. Secondly, you must create valuable time from your BUSY Schedule to be with the Lord
in fellowship spending much time in secret with Jesus Christ alone. Praising him from within your
heart, with love, using all your strength, soul and mind (Luke 10:27). During this period of fellowship,
you will claim his promises for you. Establishing a relationship with God is very very important. You
know BUSY is interpreted, as BEING, UNDER SATANS YOKE. Dont be unnecessarily busy.
Create time to be with God. As much as God knows our needs, yet he wants us to ask him about it.
Thank him for the ones he has done and make conscious effort to be faithful in your relationship with
him.

FAITHFULNESS
Zechariah is an example of a faithful servant of God with his wife Elisabeth. Luke 1:6, 7 says And
they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord
blameless. And they had no child because that Elisabeth was barren, and they were well stricken in
years. Mary the mother of Jesus was Elisabeths niece, so if Elisabeth would have had children, they
must be Marys mate or older. God saw this couples work of faith and blessed them with a minister
of information of our Lord Jesus Christ working for the kingdom of God in the person of John the
Baptist.
If you are waiting on God for children you must:
1. Be faithful, (Heb. 10:23) says let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering for
He is faithful that promised.
2. Be watchful and
3. Be prayerful (Mark 13:33, Col. 4:2) so that you enter not into temptations.

Temptations can come from your parents, your brothers, your sisters, your friends, your in-laws, your
colleagues at work, your brethren and other supposedly caring people around you. Dont make
yourself an object of pity, dont allow people to portray you as being helpless, thinking your God is
sleeping whereas Ps. 121:5 says Behold, he that keeps Israel does not sleep nor slumber, God
himself says in Hebrews 13:5c that He will never leave you nor forsake you.
The people around you may actually be genuinely concerned, but many of them are just
provoking you to impatience and devil may use them to perpetrate his act of disobedience, fear,
anxiety and doubt. They will shake your faith, derail your track of trust, discourage you on the
promises of God, and make you very sad and unhappy. The bible says Resist the devil and he will
flee from you. James 4:7. When all these sympathizers come, stand your ground, and let the devil
knows that your faith is not in the wisdom of men but in the power of God I Cor. 2:5. The bible says,
when the enemy shall come, like a flood, the spirit of God shall raise a standard against them (Is.
59:19). The word of God is the standard to be raised. Jesus also referred Satan to the written word,
when David said, though I walk through the valley of shadow of death I fear no evil, for I thou art
with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. The rod and the staff are the word and the Holy Spirit
of God that soothes away fear and brings comfort. Soak yourself in the word of God. Employ the
sword of the spirit which is the word of God, to overcome every temptation. Col. 3:16 says let the
word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord Christ. Satan can use
anybody to tempt you, Jesus rebuked Peter saying get thee behind me Satan, Peter was not Satan but
his utterances at that time was Satanic and must be rejected immediately.( Matt. 16:23). If you are
about to fall, they will help you to crumble but if you are firmly established on the solid rock, they
will either leave you or join you on the Solid Rock which is Jesus Christ. Let your eyes be fixed upon
the LORD from where cometh your help, look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Dont
allow men to throw pity party for you. Stand firmly on the promises of God. He will never fail. Have
faith in God, But without faith it is impossible to please him. For him that cometh to God must
believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him Heb. 11:6. He maketh the
barren woman to keep houses, and to be a joyful mother of Children. Praise ye the Lord Ps. 113:9.

CLOUD OF WITNESSES

Sarah was well stricken in age when she bare Isaac. In fact she was no longer menstruating,
the bible recorded it in Gen. 18:11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age: and it
ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. Despite the situation, the LORD GOD visited
Sarah as he promised. for Sarah conceived and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of
which God has spoken to him. Before the fulfillment, God has made several promises to Abraham, he
has shown him proofs he changed his name from Abram to Abraham, he changed his wifes name
from Sarai to Sarah. God dealt with their fear when Abram said Lord God what will you give me
seeing I go childless and the steward of my house is this Elizer of Damascus? Since I have no
offspring, indeed the one born in my house is my heir. Gen 15:4-6 And behold, the word of the Lord
came to him, saying, "This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body
shall be your heir." 5 Then He brought him outside and said, "Look now toward heaven, and count
the stars if you are able to number them." And He said to him,"So shall your descendants be."
6 And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness. NKJV
He had Ishmael through Hagar. God dealt with their unbelief and doubt when Abraham laughed in
Gen. 17:17 I am old (100 years old) my wife is old (ninety years old), Sarah also laughed the same
way Gen. 18:12 but God is not limited, eventually Sarah judged God as being faithful Hebrews 11:11
and finally Isaac came as the promised child.
Rebeccas case was not as long as Sarahs own. Isaac was a man of great faith, he pleaded
with God on behalf of his wife and God heard him. Gen. 25:21 Isaac was a covenant child of God
while Rebecca came from Abrahams heathen background. In Gen. 24:4, Abraham told his servant
But thou shall go unto my country and to my leaded and take a wife unto my son Isaac. Unequal
yoke can cause barrenness. God was entreated of Isaac and Rebecca his wife conceived. This placed a
lot of priestly responsibility upon the husband as the head; the pastor, and the link between the family
and God.
Women looking up to God for children must reverence their husbands giving them due honor
as Gods representative in the home, even if they are not Christians, the Christian attitude of the wives
shall convert them and they will serve God( I Peter. 3:1) Rebecca gave birth to twins Jacob and Esau.
Jacob married two sisters and one of them was barren. Rachael and Leah came from a heathen
background but God shut Rachaels womb because she was loved more than her sister. Their husband
was partial, but God comforted Leah with children Gen. 29:31 this drove Rachael to jealousy And
when Rachael saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachael envied her sister; and said unto Jacob.
Give me children or else I die. And Jacobs anger was kindled against Rachael; and he said Am I in
Gods stead who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb. Gen. 30:1, 2. God is not wicked and
nobody asks him what he does. He is the one that closes and opens. And God remembered Rachael,
and God hearkened to her and opened her womb and she conceived and bare a son; and said God hath
taken away my reproach Gen. 30:22, 23. This is the act of God, what God has determined to do and
Rachael gave birth to the beloved Joseph.
All through several covenants with Israel (Jacob) no other woman was recorded as barren
again until in the book of Judges where Manoahs wife saw an angel Judges 13:2-5, God wanted a
godly seed which must be produced through clean, willing and thirsty vessels like Manoah and his
wife. I want to implore the husbands here, not to be bitter with their wives Col. 3:19. You should
support in love, encourage them and make available necessary requirements. If two of you shall agree
concerning ANYTHING, it shall be done for you by my father who is heaven. Matt 18:19. Manoah
was a supportive husband, not too busy and not harsh, very thoughtful, and accommodating, he did
not chide the woman saying, you have come with your troubles again. When she told him she saw a
man that told her she will have a son. In Judges 13:11 Manoah arose and went after his wife and came
to the man and said unto him, Art thou the man that speakest unto the woman? He then asked for the
details of what they were supposed to do, so that in case the woman should forget, he will remember.
And Manoahs wife bare a son called Samson, and the child grew and the Lord blessed him, Samson
judged Israel for twenty years. Judges 13:24.
Another witness was Hannah. The Lord also shut her womb because she was loved more than
her mate. I Samuel 1:5, 6. But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion: for he loved Hannah: but the
Lord had shut her womb. And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the
Lord had shut her womb. Then Hannah cried with bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord and
wept sore. She cried until she made a vow in V 11 in V 18 after Eli agreed with her request, the bible
recorded that her countenance was no more sad. The servant of the Lord marked her mouth and sealed
her prayers. V 19, 20. And they rose up in the early morning and worshipped before the Lord and
returned and came to their house to Ramah, and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the Lord
remembered her: wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had
conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel saying, because I have asked him of the
Lord. And the child Samuel ministered unto the Lord before Eli I Sam. 3:1. Hannah paid her vow to
the Lord with the support of her husband.
Some women waiting on the Lord for children do not see it as a serious problem for instance
the Shumammite woman. These set of women are religious, they recognize the power of God but are
not sure whether God can perform what he said he will do. When Elisha asked the Shumammite
woman what she wanted him to do for her, she said she is dwelling among her people, the people that
could not help her. Micah. 7:6d said a mans enemies are the men of his own house. This womans
husband was old, and she did not know whether she wanted a child, even when Elisha prophesied a
son for her, she said Nay my Lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid. I Kings 4:16.
She was hopeless, and ready to live and die with her reproach until God intervened I King 4:17. And
the woman conceived and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time
of life. This womans attitude is also a great lesson on the other hand. As glorious women waiting for
fruit of the womb, you must not be bitter with life, let us continue in our good works even making
best efforts to be cheerful, looking beyond the present situation, be preoccupied with the things of
God, to attract Gods attention to our selfless service not out of compulsion but from within our heart.
This Shunamite woman served Elisha, met his physical needs, accommodation and feeding, she felt
concerned and cared for him with her husbands support until Elisha was moved to ask her what she
wanted. Because she was doing it as free will offering not expecting gain, she did not ask for anything
not even a child. Joyous women of God, you must make determined effort to serve God and men not
expecting gain and you will be surprised at your reward. Ps. 127:3 says Lo children are heritage of the
LORD; and the hurt of the womb is his reward.
Zechariah is another faithful servant of God and his wife Elisabeth. Luke 1:5-25
There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of
Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. 6 And they were both
righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. 7 But
they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.
8 So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of his division, 9 according to
the custom of the priesthood, his lot fell to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. 10
And the whole multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of incense. 11 Then an angel
of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. And when Zacharias
saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.13 But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid,
Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call
his name John. 14 And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. 15 For he
will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be
filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. 16 And he will turn many of the children of
Israel to the Lord their God. 17 He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, 'to turn
the hearts of the fathers to the children,' and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready
a people prepared for the Lord." 18 And Zacharias said to the angel, "How shall I know this? For I
am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years." And the angel answered and said to him, "I
am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad
tidings. 20 But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place,
because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time." 21 And the people
waited for Zacharias, and marveled that he lingered so long in the temple. 22 But when he came out,
he could not speak to them; and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple, for he
beckoned to them and remained speechless.

23 So it was, as soon as the days of his service were completed, that he departed to his own house. 24
Now after those days his wife Elizabeth conceived; and she hid herself five months, saying, 25 "Thus
the Lord has dealt with me, in the days when He looked on me, to take away my reproach among
people." NKJV says And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments
and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

IS GOD TO BE BLAMED?

In cases of unrevokable barrenness Michal, readily comes to mind as a good example
of unrevokable curse, Michal was king Sauls daughter and first wife of king David, but she
reproached her husband while he was praising the Great God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. II Sam.
6:21-23 and then she had no child unto the day of her death she adopted children of her sister, yet
these children were also killed before her death. II Sam. 21:8. Try and search your life as much as you
can remember if in any way you have reproached or touch an anointed one of God in evil or done
wickedly to innocent, poor and weak people/children around you. Repent of this evil and come to the
pool of the blood of Jesus Christ for cleansing and restoration. This is a period of grace, Jesus, Christ
is our propitiation. Isaiah 1:18 says come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though
sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow: though they be red like crimson, they shall be as
wool.
Another example is Jephthahs daughter, it was a pathetic story of a father making an
unrevokable vow before the Lord, the daughter was dedicated to God as a virgin until her death.
Your parents might have made such similar dedications/pledges on your behalf to lesser gods
or deity. This can be revealed by the almighty God we serve even if your parents will not tell you or
they might be dead. With God nothing shall be impossible.
There was a woman in Yoruba history (IBADAN) named Efunsetan Aniwura, who boldly
told God to hold on to his children while she dealt with her servants brutally, killing any maid that
dare gets pregnant along with the fetus. The woman died a miserable death without a child. Beware of
developing a heart of bitterness against God or any one and check your life for cases of abortion,
wickedness towards children and involvement in any gathering propagating blood guiltiness,
anointing covenanted marriages to deity, spiritual husbands. Seek Godly counsel and deliverance
immediately in a God fearing Church and not spiritual House.

GODS OWN PLAN
Exodus 23:26 says there shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number
of thy days I will fulfill. Deuteronomy 7:14 says Thou shall be blessed above all people: there shall
not be male or female barren among you or among your cattle.
Anybody who is a true child of God cannot be barren. The blood of Jesus Christ has not been
shed before Michal and Jephtah daughters cases. God is your creator and has spoken again and again
that you cannot be barren even, if you are covenanted to any deity the vow can be broken because the
blood of Jesus Christ has blotted out every hand writing of ordinances against us that are contrary to
us and taken it out of our way and nailed it to his cross once and for all Col. 2:13-15 we are in a
glorious disposition, because Heb. 10: said without shedding of blood there is no remission and the
Blood had been shed. Glory is to God (Amen).
Except you are not a born again child of God, then you may not be able to confidently claim
your freedom. That is Jesus Christ died for your sins, so that you may live, there is no other sacrifice
that is acceptable to God than that of Christ shed blood death, and resurrection. And at the name of
Jesus Christ every kneel must bow and every tongue must confess Jesus Christ is Lord He is before
the creation of all things, everything was created by him, in him and for him, there was nothing
created that was created except through him. There is no dominion that can raise his head where Jesus
Christ is. He led captivity captive; he ascended on high sat on the right hand of the most high and
gave gifts (children) to the children of men. All power belongs to him any power that wants to operate
must take permission from him Col. 1:13-17. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and
hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son. In whom we have redemption through his blood,
even the forgiveness of sins: who is the image of the invisible God, the first born of every creature.
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are on earth, visible and invisible
whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities or powers: all things were created by him and
for him: And he is before all things and by him all things consist.
Howbeit, this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting Matt 17:21 Therefore, fast often
and pray always.

DESIRE
There must be a keen desire to have children, sometimes we wish for things we do not
actually desire or have need of, if wishes were horses beggars will ride. This was my experience after
my first child, while I was waiting for additions the Lord revealed the state of my heart to me. I
dreamt seeing people carrying children and passing by me, nobody was restricting them but yet I felt
so unconcerned, there was no urge in me to carry my own children meanwhile, in real life, I will pray,
fast, do night vigils asking for additional children but the spiritual desire was not there. This state of
mind requires the help of the Holy Spirit to turn wishes to real desires and the zeal of the Lord of host
will perform it (2 Kings 19:31). Ask God to reveal the state of your heart to you concerning this issue
of receiving children from God since he has a purpose for you bearing godly children and not to have
children that you will not care for or nurture them in the way of the Lord. Hand them over completely
to the Lord, Is. 54:13 Says and all your children shall be taught of the LORD and great shall be the
peace of your children.
