There was a successful application for a grant from Millar Homes of 500
and an application from the Lloyds Bank Community Fund is pending which
could be worth up to 3,000.
Club Clothing
The club currently has stock of a number of larger size short and long sleeve
jerseys, various bib tights, mits and arm warmers. The stock will be sold at
discount and has a value of 1,705. The Secretary will advertise on the club
website details.

7. Social Secretarys Report
The Annual Prize Presentation will be held in the New Year towards the end
of January 2015. The proposed venue is the Doncaster Catholic Club and
the evening will include a buffet. Details are to be confirmed nearer the date.
8. Time Trial Reports for 2014 and plans for 2015
The Club Open 25 was held on 7th September 2014. There were 36 entries,
generating 360 in income. After expenses there was a surplus of 43.70.
Thanks to the all volunteers and time keepers. At present no Club Open
events are planned for 2015.
The Club Evening 10s, after a bright start, saw limited numbers participating.
Discussions are taking place with 2 other local clubs about holding combined
club time trials during 2015 on Wednesday evenings to share marshalling
duties and promote the wider participation. It was agreed to pursue the idea
of interclub time trial events.
9. Road Race Report
The main road race event of 2014 was the Doncaster Cycles Festival held in
June. Martin Maltby and members of the club working with DMBC were
instrumental in organising the event. On the day there were 330 riders and
an estimate of between 4,000 and 5,000 spectators. Figures from DMBC
estimate the economic value of the Festival as 120,000 to the local
economy, the value of volunteers to be 27,000. At its peak the Twitter feed
was 1.1million, and during the day there were 22,000 Facebook views. The

Examples of BioRacer kit were available at the meeting for members to try
for size and look at the quality. Sizing and prices will be posted on the club
website in the near future. All orders will require a deposit to be paid up front
and the club will be able to place small value orders (700) at a time.
It was agreed junior members (U18) could purchase club kit for 50%
discount. 3 month membership is still required prior to order.
12. Any Other Business
The conduct of riders on chain gang/training rides was raised. All members
are requested to keep to club etiquette, ride safe and in consideration for
other road users.
