    'HB' Industrial Immersion Heaters


    The EXHEAT HB range of screwed or flanged immersion heaters are suitable for all commercial and
    industrial hot water cylinders, process tank heating, cooling tower frost protection and applications
    which are non-corrosive to the materials of construction. Each heater is supplied with an adjustable
    control thermostat scaled to suit the specific application.

    FEATURES

    TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

    Robust lightweight steel enclosure with white nylon


    finish.

    Hot water storage tanks

    Certified weatherproof to IP66.

    Pre-heating oil & water

    Suitable for working pressures of up to 8 Bar.g.


    Higher working pressures are available on request.

    Food processing equipment

    All models fitted with Incoloy 825 elements and 2


    off stainless steel thermostat pocket.

    Cleaning & rinsing equipment

    Terminal box can be rotated through 360 degrees


    to allow final cable entry position to be chosen.

    Heat transfer, Process and Boiler


    equipment

    Heavy duty brass fixing boss screwed 2", 2 "and


    2 BSP. Alternatively supplied with square
    mounting flange.

    Frost protection

    Up to two cable entries possible (standard 1 off).

    Standard immersion heaters are designed for


    horizontal installation only. Heaters for vertical
    installation are available to order.

    ROD TYPE
    Heat is transferred to the liquid by means of Incoloy 825
    sheathed heating elements with automatic control being
    achieved by the integral adjustable thermostat.
    Units marked * have been designed for use where space is
    limited. These have high flux ratings which should be
    considered when selecting heaters. Two thermostat pockets
    are fitted as standard to facilitate optional safety limit
    thermostat when required.

    REMOVABLE CORE TYPE


    This range is recommended for applications where the
    equipment cannot be easily drained.
    Heat is transferred to the liquid by means of removable
    ceramic heating elements within a Carrier tube to allow
    replacement without draining.
    Automatic control can be achieved by fitting a thermostat
    into the integral pocket.
    Sheath material available in stainless steel or carbon steel.
