be paid on this account.
5. The quantities mentioned against various items are net quantities and does not include any wastage.
6. All materials to be used for work shall be as approved by client and consultant.
7. The rate quoted shall remain firm till the end of the contract and escalation will not be allowed on what so ever
account it may be.

submitted in the form of six hard copies and one soft copy
containing all the necessary information like recommendation
on the SBC to be followed, minimum depth of footing and the
test results showing SPT value, Ground Water Level, Chemical
analysis, Specific Gravity, Atterberg Limits, Natural Moisture
Content, Bulk Density and Dry Density, Grain Size Analysis,
Triaxial Test (both drained and undrained), Unconfined
Compressive Test, Consolidation Test as specified, Shrinkage
Limit Test, Rock Crushing Strength (in saturated condition),
water Absorption of Rock, Point Load Index, Proctor Density
Test, Trial / Inspection Pit (3mx2mx3m deep) etc. complete in
all respect.

charge. Girth of trees shall vary from 300mm 600 mm. The
rate shall be quoted per tree basis.
Logging, stacking, & guarding of the logged trees in the
specified diameter and length as per the directions of
Engineer-in-charge. The rate shall be quoted per tree basis.
Earthwork
a) Excavation either straight / sloped with cutting and dressing
sides and bottom to the true dimensions.
b) Cement Concrete (PCC) dimensions shall be measured for
payment of Earth work.
Excavation in hard soil (moorum quality with soft disintegrated
rock ) for foundation, trenches, rafts, plinths, plinth area
leveling, etc.; to required depth from existing ground level
using mechanical means/manual, including stacking suitable
earth for backfilling within site ( 200m lead ) including keeping
the site dry at all times until completion of backfilling; making
temporary stepping / sloping, shoring with planking, strutting,

SAND FILLING
Supplying and Backfilling in layers using coarse river sand
below and around foundations, mats, trenches, tunnels, in
plinth, underneath flooring and in soak pits etc. as shown in
the drawing and as directed by the EIC, complete in all

BRICKWORK for Buildings
Providing and constructing one or more bricks thick brickwork
using 50 grade bricks as defined in relevant IS code in 1:6
cement sand mortar in foundations, superstructure, manholes,
ducts, drains etc. at all heights and depths above and below
plinth level as per drawings ,specifications and directions of
the EIC, including fair cutting, bonding, plumbing, lining,
leveling, flushing, raking joints, scaffolding and curing, with all
materials , tools, tackles, plant and labour complete in all

Providing and constructing brickwork of half-brick thickness,
using 50 grade bricks as defined in relevant IS code in 1:4
cement sand mortar with reinforcement at every fourth course
at all heights and depths above and below plinth level for
partition walls as per drawings, specification and directions of
the EIC, including fair cutting, waste bounding, plumbing,
lining, leveling, flushing, raking joints, scaffolding and curing,

topping, under layer as described below Bottom Layer 28 mm with PCC 1:2:4 and Top layer 12 mm
thick non-metallic hardener consisting of mix 1:2 (1 cement
hardener mix : 2 stone aggregate 6 mm nominal size) by
volume with hardener 6 kg per sqm / as per approved
manufacturers specification including cement slurry, rounding
of edges, providing PVC strips, curing etc. complete flooring as
per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge
Providing and Laying of 6mm Ceramic glazed tile of
approved size, in flooring in pattern as detailed in drawing or
as directed by the EIC. Tile to be bedded in cement sand
mortar 20-25mm thick, mix ratio 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse
sand) including cleaning and preparing the surface for
bedding, spreading neat cement slurry by using minimum

Providing & Fixing of 12 mm thk Gypsum False Ceiling with

Supply and Fixing False Flooring with Jacks made out of 24

mm x 100 mm. The top part of the jack shall be threaded and

waste, bonding, plumbing, lining, leveling, flushing, raking
joints, curing, including all materials, tools, tackles, plant and
labour complete in all respect.
Providing and laying 20mm thick rough textured plaster with
1:4 cement sand mortar at all depths below plinth level to
faces of walls of drains including chipping and curing as per
specifications, drawings and direction of the EIC, all materials,
tools, tackles, plant and labour complete in all respect.
Precast Concrete covers of 75mm thick using M30 grade
concrete.
DISMANTLING OF EXISTING FOUNDATION
Dismantling of existing foundation of spiral classifier (Approx.
10cum) above ground (i.e. up to a height of 1m) & below
ground (i.e. up to a depth of 1m) including the grade slab as
per the direction of EIC and shall include leading the
dismantled material out of the building, loading, unloading,
stacking and storing at the designated place). This shall also
include all tools, tackles, consumables, hardware, manpower,
temporary staging etc. required for the dismantling and
disposal of all dismantled material up to 3km lead from site.

Slope stabilization is limited to working areas (foundation, buildings etc.) within battery limit of this contract
and will be achieved by finishing the top surface to a slope of 1V:1H.

Quantity indicated under dismantling item is indicative. It is understood that the Agency has visited the site
and assessed the extent and quantum of dismantling involved against each one of them. No variation in
quantity shall be entertained for this. Agency has to quote this on a Lump sum basis.
Agency shall carry out controlled dismantling of various items specified in this document to ensure no
damages to the existing adjacent facilities and systems.
If any item is damaged (other than those specified in the drawings to be issued later) during the course of
dismantling works, the agency shall be liable to rectify the same without any additional cost.
Agency quoting for the work shall consider the necessary access road to facilitate the construction activity
under this scope of work as a part of their site enabling activity.
