1. Vision and Mission of MBA-ITB


MBA ITB has a vision and mission as follows:
Vision:
To be A World Class Program of Master and Business Administration that
Creates Ethical and Entrepreneurial Leaders
Mission:
To educate and develop future leaders in business
To develop the knowledge of business and management which is relevant
and applicable for business leaders in Indonesia and the world
To develop sustainable education program for building human resource
capacity needed for enhancing industry competitiveness in Indonesia

2. Learning Goals of MBA-ITB


In General, The MBA-ITBslearning goal is to developstudents to have the
followingcharacteristics :
Knowledgeable and competent in management of business functions and
resources such as marketing, finance, operations, human resource and
technology
Ethical and entrepreneurial business leader who has a big concern about
social and environmental issues
Understand the importance of local, national and global issues to business
operations and able to adapt the business operations to sustain and grow in
the changing business environment
Continuously learn and develop ownself using professional, humanism and
ethical manner to deal with business challenges in the future

There are three programs atMBA ITB Bandung campus with specific learning
goals as follows:
A. Young Professional
The learning goal of this program is to build business sensitivity and business
administration knowledge and skills required to startcareer at managerial level.
B. Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship (CCE)
The learning goal of this program is to teach students about doing business in
creative and culture sectors and how to manage their new business in these
areas.
C. Executive MBA
The learning goal of this program to improve students agility in decision making
and to develop a holistic view of business which enables them to lead a business
project on a higher level effectively in todays business environment.

3. Learning Goals of This Course


The students who finish from this course hopefully are able to understand
management project as one of corporate resources, which includes ability to

About me
Rudy Bekti, graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) as Civil Engineer
in 1977. He continued his short course studies in Management Practice in Bradford
University UK at 1990 sent by Directorate of Public Works Indonesia and he also
graduated from MM ITB.
Prior to his present position, he worked as technical consultant. At 1975 he started
works as technical surveyor up to become as a director in his own private
construction consultant. Rudy has been consultants to various studies and projects
with state enterprises and many government projects in Indonesia.
As a lecture he has teach in many polytechnic and university in Bandung for Water
Resources Development and Project Management. At this time he still a lecture in
MBA-ITB for Project Management.
Now he was appointed to take the role of Director of Community Service SBM ITB.

This course grading system is intended to measure your achievement level on
the learning outcome.
Learning Outcome
After follow this course, you will be able to:

This course grading will use the following criteria:

Your performance in this class will be evaluated using several ways, especially:

Presentation, include paper quality and presentation.

Your answer quality during final exam.

Case Method Learning Process


In order to success in studying using case-method, you should do preparation with
time allocation for studying each case-study as follows:
1. Individual preparation: understand case and supporting document = 3 hour
2. Group preparation: discuss case and supporting document
= 1.5 hour
3. Discuss case at class
= 1.5 hour
Counseling
If there are any questions, you may have direct contact or send an e-mail or make a
call to the lecturer at MBA-ITB office during working hour.

The Importance to Become Active Participant


In order to get maximum benefit from learning using case-method, you should
follow learning process guideline above. Moreover, the benefit will be maximal if
you also share your knowledge and experience during class discussion, it means
every student should participate actively during class discussion. The student who
doesnt active in class discussion will got lowest grade for this case-discussion
session.
