Multifonds was looking for a complete solution to address all its integration requirements
around its Financial Packages with third parties. Such solution should have greater
connectivity, be able to cope with financial standards like SWIFT, and also bring extreme

When deploying its software at the customers location, Multifonds needed to handle data
from heterogeneous sources and in different formats. Each customer being different, this
recurrent effort was very time-consuming.
Multifonds planned to provide new software interfaces supporting standard banking
protocols (NSCC, FundSERV, Fix, Swift, etc.). In this process, significant business analysis
was required leaving less time dedicated to implementation.
Solution
Crossing-Tech provided exactly the solution that Multifonds needed, packaging
Connectivity Factory as a light-weighted integration platform, fully integrated within the
fund management solution. With Connectivity Factory, Multifonds now has a dedicated
generic interface platform that includes standard financial protocols and reusable business
workflows. These workflows are easily adapted for each customer by configuration only.
No specific development is required.
CF Mapping Studio
Thanks to the integrated CF Mapping Studio, financial flows can be updated and
deployed extremely quickly. It also isolates graphically transformations and integrates
validation rules and computations.
Since the business process itself is the most important part to focus on, data flows inside
Crossing-Tech's integration solutions are based on Enterprises Integration Patterns (EIP).
It is also important that business and technical people involved in the project understand
each other. Crossing-Tech provides common vocabulary to ease communication between
them.
China connector: dedicated to the Chinese market integrating trades and prices
from Shanghai and Shenzhen local stock exchanges.
Focusing on the Multifonds reusable features (WebSevices call, error handling, data
transformation, monitoring and notification), the Generic Business Integration Pack is a
standard component of the Multifonds platform.
