The Life and Thought of Pope Francis
Monday, April 27, 2015, 7:00 p.m.
Presenter: Fr. Frank Desiderio, CSP
Paulist Center, 5 Park Street, Boston
Cost: A free will offering is greatly appreciated.

Fr. Frank Desiderio, CSP will weave Jorge Mario

Bergoglios chronology and theology into a story of
reform. This multi-media presentation offers insight
into how Pope Francis biography has shaped his
vision for the Catholic Church and action for
reform. Learn about his life story with anecdotes
that show a consistent pattern of reform starting
with the Argentine Jesuits, then the Archdiocese of
Buenos Aires and, now, the Catholic Church.

Brother Robert Lentz, OFM, is a Franciscan friar whose

innovative icons are known throughout the world. He is
active in promoting dialog between Muslims and

GLOBAL CATHOLIC CLIMATE MOVEMENT

On climate change, there is a clear, definitive and ineluctable ethical imperative to act. Pope Francis
in December 2015, world leaders will meet in the united nations climatesummit
at Paris with the goal of signing a treaty to tackle climate change. Through this
petition we urge our political leaders to commit to ambitious climate action and
solve this urgent crisis, with the goal of keeping the global temperature increase
below 1.5 degree celsius relative to pre-industrial levels (aligned with thecatholic
Bishops 2014 lima statement). For more information, see climate change facts and
catholic teachings on climate change. Please sign the petition at:
