Application properties
TISSOCYL RLB is a very efficient, multi-purpose detergent covering a wide range of application.
The product is distinguished by the following qualities:

excellent wetting and deterging power even at 30C


very high degreasing effect
high soil suspending power
low foaming
during washing of yarn-dyed fabrics, bleeding into the white ground colour is mainly
prevented
stable to alkalis up to 30 g/l caustic soda
free of APEO, biodegradable
"bluesign approved"

Application fields
TISSOCYL RLB is a multi-purpose detergent and wetting agent applicable to all fibre types. The
product displays a distinctive fat dissolving power during scouring of synthetic fibres and wool in
order to remove lubricants. TISSOCYL RLB can be applied in continuous and discontinuous
processes. During pretreatment of goods which are heavily soiled with oil, the deterging effect
can be even increased by adding soda ash to the scouring or padding liquor.
The above results have been obtained from trials in our laboratory and plant. In the light
of changing conditions they can only serve as a guide and are therefore offered without

TISSOCYL RLB

When plastic dispersions are applied, TISSOCYL RLB can be added the padding liquor for
preventing of roller deposits.
TISSOCYL RLB does neither contain defoamers nor solvents. TISSOCYL RLB can be used
together with enzymatic desizing agents such as NEWAZYM AM.
Guidelines for application
TISSOCYL RLB is stirred into warm water of about 40C. Recommended quantities for stock
solution concentrations are 200 to 300 g/l TISSOCYL RLB. The obtained emulsions should be
stirred from time to time.
For discontinuous scouring processes, the following guide recipe is well tried:
0.5 - 1.0 g/l
1.0 g/l

OPTAVON DCS

Scouring temperature, pH value and time depend on the kind of substrate to be treated.
For goods soiled with oil (loom oil stains), a batching of the pre-impregnated goods on the
batching roll is favourable. We suggest the following guide recipe for this semi-continuous
procedure:
Preliminary padding with

2.0 - 5.0 g/l


1.0 - 1.5 g/l

OPTAVON DCS

followed by hot washing in the open-width washing machine on counter-flow principle or in


discontinuous machines. OPTAVON DCS specified in the above recipes is added for further
increasing of the emulsifying/dispersing effect of TISSOCYL RLB.
