I wish to apply for a graduate position within the Business Financial Services Unit of
National Australia Bank for 2014. James Grant, your Internal Recruiter recently held an
employer presentation at Macquarie University and he inspired me to apply with your
firm.
I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology and Business from
Macquarie University in July 2013 with a GPA of 3.8/4. As a result of the degree I have
developed strong analytical and research skills, which would be of benefit within a fast
paced business environment. I have a keen interest in solving problems and a creative
approach to finding solutions. These skills would be very useful in meeting the diverse
financial needs of Banks clients.
During my university studies I worked part-time as a customer service assistant for
Grace Bros. From this experience I have gained effective communication skills and the
ability to work under pressure. I have also been responsible for supervising staff and
leading a team of 3 in my work as a supervisor for Pizza Hut.
My goal is to develop a successful career in business and finance. I would enjoy working
with a broad range of clients and tailoring finance products and services to suit their
needs. I believe that I could apply the analytical, research and communication skills I
gained from my degree to achieve these objectives.
Attached are my resume and a copy of my transcript. I would be able to attend an
interview at your convenience.
