Description:
As per DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2015, enclosure No. 2 Implementing Guidelines of the
School Year 2015-2016 and under paragraph 4 of the Calendar of School Activities which states
that at the end of the Second Quarter, a midterm break shall be observed to evaluate the
individual teachers and their collective performance as well as to conduct In-Service Training
(INSET) activities in support of the continuing professional development and assist their needs
based on the result of their TSNA (Teachers Strength and Needs Assessment), Balanlinao
Elementary School shall hold a midyear assessment and inset activities on October 26-30, 2015
at the school campus.

Rationale:
This is a 5-day school-based live-out INSET. One and one-half (1 ) day will be intended
for one-on-one review of their IPCRF, one half (1/2) day for Psycho Spiritual Recollection which
aims to support the individual for a greater understanding of oneself in the context of the greater
whole. One (1) day shall be for online writing and desktop publication in preparation for the
construction of the school website, one (1) day for the production of computer-based
instructional materials and one-half (1/2 ) day for gender development and child protection and
one-half (1/2) day for display of best instructional materials.

1. To review IPCRF and target setting agreement with teachers;
2. To recollection on psycho spiritual aspects of an individual;
3. To conduct workshop, lectures and hands-on training through the use of ICT in making
reports, school website and production of computer-based instructional materials; and
4. To share and show best practices in teaching-learning.
