ABSTRACT
An automatic jack and wheel change system having at least one inverted jack driven
by an electric motor permanently attached to the vehicle. The system may employ a jack
disposed between the front and rear wheel on each side of the vehicle, or it may be equipped
with a jack at each of the four wheels. The system also features a novel wheel and hub-axle
assembly featuring a split axle whose length may be adjusted by operation of an electric motor.
The hub has a plurality of arms extending from the hub in a star-shape, each arm having a finger
at its free end.
The wheel has a plurality of slots defined therein so that the wheel may be removed by
aligning the slots with the arms on the hub and pulling the wheel off when the axle is extended,
and a plurality of holes defined therein for receiving the fingers to lock the wheel on the hub
when the axle is retracted. Both the motor for raising the jack and the motor for adjusting the
length of the axle may be operated by remote control.

INTRODUCTION

A car jack is the primary tool for changing flat tires. Learn how to safely lift your
automobile using an emergency jack
A mechanical jack comprising a ratcheting gear track connected to a frame. A bell crank arm
is pivotally connected to the frame. An elongate handle is rotatable connected to the bell crank
arm. A gear pin is connected to the elongate handle. The gear pin is for engaging the ratcheting
gear track. An elevator arm is pivotally connected to the frame. The elevator arm is slid ably
connected to the bell crank arm, and a lift pad is connected to the elevator arm.

A mechanical jack is a device which lifts heavy equipment. The most common form is a
car jack, floor jack or garage jack which lifts vehicles so that maintenance can be performed.

Car jacks usually use mechanical advantage to allow a human to lift a vehicle by manual force
alone. More powerful jacks use hydraulic power to provide more lift over greater distances.
Mechanical jacks are usually rated for a maximum lifting capacity (for example, 1.5 tons or 3
tons). The jack shown at the right is made for a modern vehicle and the notch fits into a hard
point on a unit body. Earlier versions have a platform to lift on the vehicles' frame or axle

DESCRIPTION
Hi Lift Jack is an essential part of your off-road recovery equipment. It is a rugged,
highly versatile jack that puts you in command of situations requiring lifting, pushing, pulling,
winching, and clamping. Whether you need a jack to clear an obstacle on which the vehicle has
become high-centered, or whether you need a jack to simply change a tire, a Hi Lift jack will
enable you to raise the vehicle safely and quickly, with greater ease and to a much greater height
than by using the stock jack that came with your vehicle.

Product Feature
The Hi Lift Jack has a multitude of other uses and applications too. For example, the vehicle can
be moved sideways by lifting one end of the vehicle and carefully "toppling" the Hi Lift jack in
the required direction, or the Hi Lift jack can be used as a hand-operated winch to pull the
vehicle when the vehicle's main recovery winch cannot be used. Although light in weight and
easy to maneuver, the Hi Lift Jack 48 offers a rated lifting capacity of 1050kg
With this Electric Scissor Jack, you can effortlessly change a tire and be back on the road
quickly!
Changing a tire with an ordinary jack can take a lot of time and effort. Roadside assistance is
another option, but that may take hours. But with the 1 Ton Electric Scissor Jack, you can
effortlessly change a tire and be back on the road quickly.

MECHANICS OF CAR JACK

There are a number of different types of "car jack" in use. One is hydraulic. They come
in the shape of a bottle, or are built into a trolly (the "floor jack") or the like. By operating the
handle, which is a lever (a simple machine), fluid is compressed and routed to an actuating

cylinder. This results in lift. (More on the principles involved can be found in other questions on
this forum dealing with hydraulics.)
In a friction jack, the handle (that lever) lifts the load by simple mechanical amplification.
The handle provides mechanical advantage. A lot of handle movement on a lever with the
fulcrum right up against the load side of that lever will translate into lots of amplification. True,
the load only moves a little bit, but that's the trade off; that's the way a lever works. We exchange
the extended application of force on the handle to concentrate that force on the load and move it
only a little bit. When we release the pressure on the handle, a "wedge" jams the load on the lift
shaft so it can't go down.

Hydraulic JACK

From backyard log splitters to the huge machines you see on construction sites, hydraulic
equipment is amazing in its strength and agility! On any construction site you see hydraulically
operated machinery in the form of bulldozers , shovels, fork lifts andHydraulics operate the
control surfaces on any large airplane. You see hydraulics at car service centers lifting the cars so
that mechanics can work underneath them, and many elevators are hydraulically operated using
the same technique.

Cast Iron is an iron-carbon alloy with a typical carbon content of 3.0-4.5 wt.%. Also Si
(0.5-3.5 wt.%) and small amounts of Mn, S and P are always present. The main
advantages of cast iron are its low price and the ability to make products of a complex
shape in a single production step. Furthermore, cast iron offers a reasonable resistance
against corrosion.

WORKING OF AUTOMATIC DOUBLE CAR JACK

The automatic car jack is operated by turning the lead screw with the motor and
Gear arrangement mechanism which eliminates the requirement of the human
labour to rotate the lead screw. The motor is driven by the 12V battery which is
generally the battery of car itself.
