Clashing of Classes
Whilst every endeavour has been made with the timetable to accommodate everyone, classing is sometimes unavoidable Therefore classes
will not be held up so please bear this in mind when entering, as entry fees are non-refundable.
If there are not sufficient entries, classes may be amalgamated

The Organisers and the Owners of Widmer Equestrian Centre accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person / animal or
property howsoever caused to those attending the show. Attendance at the show is entirely at your own risk.
By signing the entry form for the show exhibitors acknowledge that the show organisers, the committee, and the members accept no
liability whatsoever.
CLASSES AFFILIATED TO THE WELSH PONY AND COB SOCIETY TO BE JUDGED UNDER THE SOCIETY RULES.
The Judges Decision is final

Exhibitors shall be responsible for the correctness of their entries, which must be logged with Secretary on or before the dates
fixed and published
All entries for the Welsh medal classes must be registered with or be eligible for registrations with the WPCS
All other entries must have an up to date passport
All colts 2 years old and over must be bitted
Brood Mares must be 4 years old and over
Barren Mares not to have had a foal in the current year
Stallions must be 4 years old and over and licensed to be eligible for a medal
All foals must be three weeks old and over and be accompanied by their dams at all times
All Riders/Handlers of colts and stallions must be 14 years older, in any class
All ridden Horses/Ponies must be 4 years old or over

Trimming for shows with effect from 1 January 2015, the society will be taking action against those not strictly adhering to
the Judging & Showing Handbook Rule.
The Welsh Breeds are a native breed and too much trimming and pulling detracts from their native characteristics. Pure bred
animals registered in Sections A, B, C, D must be shown in as natural a state as possible, manes and tails must not be platted
with the exception of an optional single plait behind the ear
Animals, 3 years old and under including foals must not be body clipped for showing purposes. Long hair under the jaw line and
those protruding from the ears may be trimmed off leaving as natural a line as possible. The whiskers around the muzzle may be
trimmed
Animals 4 years and over, which have been clipped for winter activities can be shown. Judges must take special note of this. Legs
