Peter was on the list of Arundel men who were drafted in Oct. 1776, however, I have been unable to find
out any other information about his military service.(1)
Peter was taxed in Arundel in Oct. 1798 for a house valued at $30, 38 acres of land valued at $199, and a

Administration on the estate of Peter Deshon was granted before 6 Jan. 1817 to John Wildes, an heir by
right of his wife Hannah as Peter's only surviving son Jonathan refused. The inventory amounted to £468

daughter (18 acres), Jonathan Deshon (3 acres including the house), Lydia Deshon (8 acres), the heirs of
Benjamin Deshon, deceased (a lot), and the heir of Elijah Deshon, deceased (5 acres). On 6 Jan. 1817 John
