    Panasonic is offering a PBX partner program (Panasonic Solution Developer
    Network for Communication Products) to offer integration between Panasonic PBX
    and 3rd party vendor applications. For the software vendors registered in the
    program, Panasonic provides the latest technical specification and support to our
    partners interoperability testing. The 3rd party vendor successfully tested the
    software product stated in this solution leaflet, in accordance with the 'self-test'
    specification provided by Panasonic.

    Overview
    Panasonic business partners will be able to propose simple and secure remote SIP office connections to
    their customers without the need of a separate VPN. The Comdasys Convergence appliances can be
    deployed as Session Border Controller (SBC) and installed as the main router in the head office. This means
    that the PBX extensions of the KX-TDE series, KX-NCP series of the Head office can be seamlessly
    connected to SIP Remote Office extensions with SIP trunks. To accomplish this, simply connect the
    Comdasys Convergence to the Internet and to your internal network. The solution is simple to setup and
    operate and scales from a handful of users to large scenarios with thousands of users.

    Main Feature
    For the Panasonic PBX, the Virtual SIP
    Extension (V-SIPEXT32) is used to
    interconnect the PBX to a remote SIP
    extension (remote office) via the SBC. The
    SBC is installed as the main router in the head
    office.
    The SBC provides the following functions:
    Remote office SIP phone address resolution
    and address translation within SIP messages.
    Head office (PBX extension) and the remote
    office (SIP telephone) can be seamlessly
    connected by the use of a PBX SIP extension.
    Little or no dependence on the setting of the
    Router of the Remote-Office.

    The internet is rapidly expanding, becoming increasingly content-rich and

    The Convergence is a fully RFC 3261 compliant SIP Proxy Registrar.
