Hot Line Ball Y-Clevis
Hot line Ball Y-Clevises are used to attach ball and socket insulators to other associated
hardware within an insulator string. Shoulders are provided to accommodate hot line tools and

Oval Eye
Forged Oval Eye Bolts are commonly used with thimbles, clevises and other pole line
hardware items for overhead guying and dead-ending. Oval Eye Bolts are roll threaded and
furnished with one square nut. Oval Eye Bolts have cone points to allow driving without
damage to the threads; moreover, to make the engaging and threading of nuts quicker and
easier. Length is measured from below the eye to the last thread. All Oval Eye Bolts are

Bolted Neutral Wire Bracket with Clamp
Preformed Line Products Neutral Wire Brackets with Clamp accommodate neutral wire ranging
from 0.375 to 1.100 diameter.
A 5/8 threaded bolt is required to attach the bracket to the pole. The base is threaded.
The bolted neutral wire bracket (with clamp) is advantageous over the tip top neutral wire

Sidewalk Guy Fitting
Preformed Line Products Sidewalk Guy fittings are available in either Aluminum Alloy
or Galvanized Ductile Iron. Sidewalk Guy fittings are used with 2 and 2 IPS galvanized
steel pipe (not included).
The pole fitting, Catalog number T-SWG-20B (D or A) is curved to fit the pole and is secured
using four lag bolts. Pole fittings with an 11/16 diameter hole for a 5/8 machine bolt are
available upon request.
The guy end fitting Catalog number SWG-20C (D or A) includes a Catalog number
R-1008 guy clamp which accommodates single or double guys from to 3/8. When only one
guy is used place a short piece of strand in the second groove of the clamp. Sidewalk guy
fittings are tested to meet CSA-C83 specifications.
Both fittings are secured to the pipe with a set screw.

Guy Hook
Guy hooks are used to secure guy wires to pole structures. Guy hooks have cast integral
spurs on the back to grip the pole to eliminate turning of the guy hook. They can be mounted
