SMALL NEWS CLIPPING

This is a walkthrough (currently) for a New Game -Normal-.
My goal is to give you options to get everything else before continuing to
a
New Game + (Hard Mode).
In this walkthrough, I will try to give you the high score/highest score
for
every picture you can get and also a note/strategy on how to get it right.
Completed walkthrough for a New Game.
Mission Mode 100% completed with SS and S Ranks only.
I will continue finishing the walkthrough on New Game+ (Hard Mode) and
Chapter Zero.
The points you will receive when capturing a Non-hostile spirit by using
Type-07/14/61/90/Zero is NO DIFFERENT.
The 'Points' I collected from hostile spirits may differ from yours,
depends on
the Power-Ups and Equipped Function you chose, also depends on the Frame
Shot
Skills you get, and the Distance when you take a picture.
I use picture numbering (P-011-SL1-HoS, etc) for all the pictures I get.
I put 'SL1' on some pictures to indicate a Spirit List you can capture
on your first play through (Normal Mode).
I put 'HoS/VS/HiS/DS/CS' to indicate whether it is a
Hostile/Vanishing/Hidden
/Door/Clue spirit.
You can use the number; p-011, etc to search for its Points and Location,
Fatal Frame, Evade and Spirit List detail inside this walkthrough.
The number is acting as a search engine for the specific spirit
you picked up.
I will put SL2 on the right side of some pictures to indicate a Spirit List
that will only show up on the second play through (Hard Mode).
I have separated all the pictures according to their types.
All the points I have collected will be accumulated at the end of every
chapter
The highest point on the screen is 999999 points.
The highest point on the Camera Upgrade is 999999 points.
Sometimes the texts/words are not going to pop up from other items (box, )
when you check up things the first time.
You need to do something first in order to trigger it out.

GENERAL HINTS & TIPS

1. Taking pictures: How to be a professional image capturing.
*Focus on the target and Capture Circle:
Synchronize the + sign on the center of the Capture Circle to the
target.
The Capture Circle will glow green/red when a target is within the
range.
*Core:
Aim for the brown little circle line (mostly) on the head.
This will give you higher points and when aimed accurately you will get
the Highest Score.
*Center Focus:
Use your viewtiful sense of art. Be more artistic.
Look around you then capture for the Core.

*Search Faster:
Hold down SQUARE [] button to search faster when in viewfinder mode!
*Blind Capture:
The filament at the bottom-right is glowing even when you cannot
see a spirit in front of you. Use your viewfinder and adjust your
distance.
When the Capture Circle is glowing bright, press the shutter button
to capture a spirit.
*Charge Gauge:
When you have gotten the Spirit Capture ability, the Capture Circle
will be
using a Charge Gauge which will glow red for a split second and to give
you
a chance to score for Zero shot.
*Be PATIENT!
When it comes to art in action, what else do you expect?
*Timing:
Once you are accustomed to their patterns, things are a lot easier.
*Position:
Sometimes, you need to exploit Mayu and sometimes you need to push away
Mayu to get a better view/focus. Be in a safe or close distance to a
spirit or hostile spirit is needed when necessary.
*Saving your game and album data:
Save frequently! is a compulsory when searching for higher points.

the maximum level of a camera functions or Power-Up lens.
*How to obtain it?
-Some are lying on the ground/tables waiting for you to pick up.
-Some are given by the defeated hostile spirits.
-Some are given by a secret hostile spirit;
If you do not come to the hostile spirit at a specific time and defeat
it,
10.Spirit List:
You will get it after you have finished this game the first time.
It contains the 'Spirit List (names)' you have captured during your
quest
to escape from the Lost Village. Along with it, you can view the
highest points (prove of your hard work :) you managed to achieve
when capturing each of the spirit. Without pictures of the spirit,
it is saving up some space on the memory card.
You can find the Spirit List below the Memo on the Menu Screen.
Type of Spirits in the Spirit List:
1. Hostile Spirits (HoS)
2. Door Spirits (DS)
3. Hidden Spirits (HiS)
Outside the list, there are:
4. Door Spirits (DS) which will open a locked door for you.
5. Clue Spirit (CS) which will give you a clue or a picture to solve
the puzzle.

*Some items will disappear when you did not get it the first time.
*When using Equipped Function, you can change between them to give you
advantage. Example, Equip Stun, aim and shoot for the spirit,
go to camera menu, equip Blast, and shoot it to get higher points.
*You can explore the area searching for hostile spirits if you have time
to
spend to. They will show up in random appearance.
Some areas are occupied more than the others.
*The most useful type of film is the Type-90.
Not only can it capture two individual spirits because of its faster
loading
but also produce the highest points possible for your 3Hit Combo
succession
*It is best to start a 3-Hit Combo Fatal Frame with a FF,Z,Core shot
since
it will give you the BEST possible points or maybe with an additional
Close Shot! and then finish it with a Zero 3 Combo with a Core Shot!
*The highest % for the Spirit List on a New Game is 84%.

Go up and follow the road to uphill (hold down [] button to walk faster).
Now you are at the 'Misono Hill' viewing down to the Lost Village.

you will find a [Black Bag], a [News Clipping] -Geological Surveyor

as you explore more the map will be completed.

On top of the shelf, you will get [Woman's Notebook 2].
Check the drawer at the other side of the room to get [Sacred Water x1].
Get out of the room and go to the opposite room.

To your left (near the window) you can get [Herbal Medicine x2].
Inspect the bedding behind the mosquito net to receive [Woman's Notebook
4].
Get out of the room.
Now it is time to explore more of the house.
To the =Dirt-floor Hallway=
Pass the intersection, just go straight.
Follow the spirit to turn left at the end.
Open the door.

Here you will get [Woman's Notebook 3] next to the old coal brazier.
Get out of the room.
Get back to the intersection.
Turn right and get inside =Family Altar Room=
Note if you try to go for another direction Mio will desperately call for
you.
Once inside, go straight until you stuck near the table to get
[Woman's Notebook 5]. Go around the table and get a [Flashlight].
You will also get [Camera Obscura Pointers].
After picking up the [Camera Obscura], you will get [Basic Camera
Operation]
,[Type-07 Film x unlimited films), [Type-14 Film x 48films).
You also get [Camera Obscura Memo] on your menu screen.
Connected to this room is =Deluxe Tatami Room=
Collect [Herbal Medicine x2] on the floor.
Once she appears, get to the core and snap it right away, center
focus.

Fatal Frame 1:
*Stand next to the save point, looking through from the viewfinder
(1st person mode). When she is near to you, walk (faster) to her left
side,
turn around, camera ready, focus on the head and the capture gauge.
(you may want to use [] button to search faster)
She will then try to stand up and catch up with your shadow.
This is your Fatal Frame! Aim for the core, stay focus.
Do not worry, she will not be able to harm you. Just move closer.
Fatal Frame 2:
*When she reappears, wait until she bends down (you may need to avoid her
charging attack), move to her side, viewfinder, move forward and backward,
a little bit to left and right side to persuade her to stand.
This is your Fatal Frame, Close, Zero.
You may need to do this a few times to get the best position.
Notes:
-She likes to disappear after the charging attack, avoid (you can do it in
1st person mode/viewfinder), follow her in the viewfinder (use SQUARE
button
to search faster), this way she will not disappear from your sight.
-When she is bending down, you can move around her without getting any
harm.

When he is approaching and the Capture Gauge does not flashing for
Zero
shot that means he is in invincible attack. Avoid quickly!
Or, you may want to step back gradually because sometimes
the red flash will blink when he is very close to you.
After, he will summon two Veiled Priest to lecture you. Beat them
too.
Actually, often, you do not have to move from where you stand
-center-.
After you beat him, the two Veiled Priest will be doomed.
You can always run around to avoid the magic fireballs
(use the 3rd person view to get a better view of your surrounding
when avoiding those fireballs).
And if you do not target/track him with your Capture Gauge,
he will not attack you, thus releasing the two Veiled Priest or the
magic fireballs.
Trick: You may want to defeat him before he summons the Veiled Priests.
To do so, you need to hit him twice or three times with type-90,
and be sure he does not loose his health beyond half.
This way, he will not summons his assistants and the next shot
should
be a 3Hit combo Fatal Frame to bring him peace forever.
Fatal Frame 1:
*When he is approaching and the Capture Gauge is reacting, step back and
get ready for the Fatal Frame (aim for 3Hit Combo).
Fatal Frame 2:
*When he uses his power to release his magic fireballs,
avoid it to the left or to the right and maintain your aiming on the
core.
It should be flashing red.
Or just approach him closer. When he is releasing his power, you will not
get
hit and the core is yours :)
Fatal Frame 3:
*Be more aggressive. Approach him when he is standing still. He will then
move
forward leaving you behind an easy target to the core on his head.
2. This time, he will release his black magic fireballs ala Veiled Priest.
Solution:
*Avoid to left or right. The fireballs are slow.
After a few turns, he will be back for the normal attack pattern.
Fatal Frame 1:
*Attract him by approaching and move backward. When he is about to hit
you,
the red flash is blinking. This trick has a good chance of success.
Fatal Frame 2:
*Once he appears, walk faster to his behind. He is slow to attack.
Activate your camera, aim for the core on the head.

FATAL FRAMES

I decided to compile all the Fatal Frame info into one section.
I hope this will be helpful when searching for Fatal Frame tactics,
especially when you are in the Mission Mode.
Here they are, in order of the Spirit List:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------1. WANDERER (Miyako Sudo), P-011-SL1-HoS.
Fatal Frame 1:
*Tell the spirit to strangle Mayu (as decoy). Oh my sister >_< get me
caught.
When the spirit is crying at the corner, just ignore her.
When he is strangling Mayu that is your best chance to score for Fatal
Frame
Get very close to the spirit, aim and shoot for FF,Zero,Close,Core
bonus :)
Fatal Frame 2:
*When he is coming after you, start taunting by approaching and walking
back ward.
When he is raising his hands and about to hit, walk back to safe and aim
for the core on his head. That is your timing.
Fatal Frame 3:
*Let her attack miss. She will bend down her head. That is Fatal Frame.
Sometimes, you need to avoid to her side to be safe. Use -Stun-.

Fatal Frame 1:
*When he is about to swing his first attack, move back on your viewfinder
mode
The split second he missed the hit, capture the head.
Fatal Frame 2:
*Avoid his first attack, aim your Capture Circle to his bending head, when

about to start his second attack, that is your Fatal Frame!
(or avoid to his back and you will have freedom to capture for Fatal
Frame)
Note:
-Run through will persuade him to attack you, stand on his side,
he will usually try to attack what ever in front of him and
you will not get hit. Get it done.

Fatal Frame 1:
*When he is about to strike his first attack. Your chance is slim. Use
Stun
Fatal Frame 2:
*When he is about to strike his second attack, aim for his bending head,
use Stun-.
Notes:
-Get close, he will be ready to attack you, score it.
-Run through will persuade him to attack you, this is also your chance
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------4. POLE BEARER, P-020-SL1-HoS.
Fatal Frame 1:
*Wait for his bending down, when he is standing and about to put a stab
on you with his pole, that is your Fatal Frame.
Fatal Frame 2:
*Stand and move around at his back. He cannot hurt you there.
Just wait until he is standing and about to swing his pole somewhere
else.
Aim for the core on his head. Stun is very useful. Use it.
Notes:
-Run through will persuade him to attack you.
Watch out for his long-range pole.

Fatal Frame 1:
*When she is performing her low dive attack, viewfinder mode, walk
backward,
keep aiming on her and you will get your chance to score for Fatal Frame.
Fatal Frame 2:
*Use Evade when she holds you from below. She will then be vulnerable to
Fatal Frame shot. (Notice the red flash light)
Be very quickly to aim for the core.
Usually your Capture Circle is already at the core.
Your first chance is on Chapter Five at Whisper Bridge when leaving
Kurosawa
House to Osaka House to get the Cell key.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------6.VEILED PRIEST, P-027-SL1-HoS.
Fatal Frame 1:
*He will disappear a lot just like P11.
When he is ready to attack that is the high score.
When the attack is nearly hit you that is Fatal Frame.
Fatal Frame 2:
*When he is praying, the red flash will blink.

Fatal Frame 1:
*Focus, let him get close, when in first mode, use R3 to move forward to
get
attention, move backward a little bit, he is going to bite you.
When his head is bowing down while attacking, you are on it.
Fatal Frame 2:
*A split second before his double arms attack.

Fatal Frame 1:
*Get close, she will then close her face to your camera. Walk back
gradually.
when using viewfinder. Your red gauge will be full and her mouth will
open.
Always aim for the core, that's it. You can also go behind her.
Fatal Frame 2:
*Use EVADE on her. When she is bending down holding her head with both
hands.
That is your sign for Fatal Frame.

Fatal Frame 1:
*After a few turns and avoiding her attack three times, she will be
standing
still waiting for your best shot.
Quickly aim for the core on her head.
Wait for a moment untill the Red Flash blinks.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------9. UNREST IN PIECE, P-078-SL1-HoS.
Fatal Frame 1:
-She is not that tough especially when you have upgraded your Blast or
Zero effect to the fullest. Just need a couple of shots (Combo).
-Use your viewfinder to locate where she is going to show up.
And she is slow ~ ~
-Ask her to be around a spacious place if that will help you
(Raised Tatami Room).
-Even when she starts to cry and give you a portion of black screen,
there is nothing to worry about, you can always find her using the
glowing red and your flashlight indicating her dark image walking around
-And when she grabs you during the black screen, use EVADE
to force her Fatal Frame posture.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------12. FALLEN WOMAN, P-097-SL1-HoS.
Fatal Frame 1:
*When you hit her, she will disappear and fall again from the top.
Prepare your Capture Circle a little bit to the side or to the front
(random).
Keep doing combo.
Fatal Frame 2:
*Make her desperate by moving/walking around her continuously.
Or keep your position to her legs and adjust your Capture Circle.
Follow her movement. She will then restart the bungee jumping.
Once she is disappear from the floor, aim your Capture Circle to the spot
where she disappear or a little bit closer to your side (a bit random).
Note:
-Approach her and when her hands move to grab your feet, that is your
Zero shot. However, avoid her first attack by walking back and you will
get the best moment for snapping.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------13. TWIN'S DOLL (Akane's Doll), P-100-SL1-HoS.
It is invincible/not a target to destroy.
There is no Fatal Frame for this doll.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------14. TWIN'S SPIRIT (Akane Kiryu), P-101-SL1-HoS.
Fatal Frame 1:
*When the Twin's Spirit raises her head and prepare to grab you.
The red flash will blink. Aim for the head.
Fatal Frame 2:
*Sometimes, when the Twin's Spirit shows up and walk slowly, the Twin's
Doll
will grab you from the back, EVADE, re-aim for Twin's Spirit and she
might
give you a chance for Fatal Frame.
Fatal Frame 3:
*In random battles, the Twin's Spirit sometimes flies down from the top.
When she is about to touch the ground, the red flash is on, snap for the
core
and try to connect 3 hit combos.
Notes:
-First appearance is a shadow, it will not harm you.
As usual, aim for the core when she gets near and ready to attack
-The 'Real' Twin Spirit will raise her face-a chance for Fatal Frame.
The 'Fake' Twin Doll will raise her face-try to attack,
Notes:
-Stand at one spot/at the center. Watch for your glowing filament and
the red flash on viewfinder mode to locate where they are hiding.
WAIT for them to come at you! You do not have to do nothing actually.
When they come out, just ignore first, then they will be more curious
and would like to know you better. Sometimes when they are approaching
do not target on the core, wait until they are close enough.
Aim your Capture Circle lower in adjustment to children's head.
-When they are waving their hands, which is for Zero shot.
-When caught, use EVADE skill. It is very useful.
When successfully evading, they are stunned for about half a second
and you are invincible for the next enemy's attack.
-Sometimes they use one of them as decoy. When one of them is sitting
and doing nothing, try to approach, nothing happened.
The truth is, one of his friend is ready to attack you from other
direction, possibly from your behind. So, do not be fooled by these boys
If you avoid the decoy trap, the decoy is now vulnerable.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------21. THE MOURNER, P-080-SL1-HoS.
Fatal Frame 1:
*Wait until his attack is about to hit you.
Fatal Frame 2:
*After the brutal attack, he will stand still and focus on his ears.
That is when you have a chance to score for a Fatal Frame!
Notes:
-If you stand still, he will not be able to hit you because he uses his
ears to detect motion.
-When you are escaping (using EVADE), he will very soon attacking you.

Fatal Frame 1:
*Wait for his attack, red gauge, he is bowing head down then raise his
head,
that is when rhea Red Flash blinking. The core is on his mouth.
Actually (Sometimes) you do not have to move from where you stand :)
Fatal Frame 2:
*Well, this is almost the same, except that the Red Flash is blinking
before
he bows his head down.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------23. LIMBO WOMAN, P-040-SL1-HoS.
Fatal Frame 1:
*She will zap a few times. Once in front of you, she will zap a bit to the
side then attack you.
Fatal Frame 2:
*When she is standing looking at you and shaking her head, not yet
attacking.
(Quickly approach her) Watch for the red sign. Do not get too close,
she has a long range attack.
-Usually within a split second you are caught, you must press th shutter
button
-A good signal is when the screen is about to zooms-in/close up.
When the screen is zooming in very fast, given you a split second clear
view
of what the spirit is about to bite/hit/grab you.
-You DO NOT have to hold down the shutter button to successfully evading,
but maybe it is more comfortable and confident to hold it down.
-Sometimes by using evade, you will unfold a chance to score for a
Fatal Frame shot. Example is when you escaping Sunken Woman's low dive
attack, she will automatically be in a stun for almost half a second and
the
red flash will blink.
However, if during the effect you are hit by that spirit, the effect will
be
cured.
-DO NOT press the shutter button in a hurry.
-When you get caught on the viewfinder mode, you need to remember the
timing
as when you are caught on 3rd person view. Maybe you will feel better if
you
turn off the viewfinder and get caught in 3rd person view.

Whatever the rank you get, the prize will be the same, except that I have

4. Other than that, you can press various buttons for additional helps:

- You will get prizes (points) based on the rank achievement.
But you will get only once, even when you get an SS rank on the next
trying,
it will not count. It will only count for the first time you completed
the mission you had chosen, what ever the rank. So please give it the
best!
(You may want to restart the mission if you do not get the best result,
but maybe it is not necessary. Up to you.)
The prize itself is vary depends on your time/score achievement.
The faster/better you finish your job, the better the prizes will be?
- If you happened to fail the requirement of a specific mission,
(dead, out of time+) then you will not get a rank nor a prize.
- If you are dead or out of time, then you are failed and will not get a
rank.
- The in-game clock will not running when you are playing the Mission game.
- Mio can do a sprint start if you press and hold walk faster before
the mission starts.
- Well, you probably should do this mission after you have completed the
game
in Hard level. Or, is there a benefit in completing it before the Hard
level?
- Each mission worth 4%, so all 25 missions worth 100% :)~
- Hey, you got Herbal Medicine. Quantity depends on the specific mission.
Will it affect the ranks when used? Maybe not.
- It is best to start a 3-Hit Combo Fatal Frame with a FF,Z,Core shot since
it will give you the BEST possible points or maybe with an additional
Close Shot! and then finish it with a Zero 3 Combo with a Core Shot!
- Your high scores on the Mission Mode will not be carried away to the
Menu Screen, but it will be displayed on the Mission Screen.

You must aim from the broken windows to the core of the hostile spirits
and
you must aim for Fatal Frame to goal the mission requirement.
Strategy:
Basic: Keep performing Fatal Frame and Combo as many as you can.
FF two times then FF-Zero lvl.3 one time. Repeat the process.
Other: Lure Man in Dark out of the Hanging Doll Room and you can fight him
outside and perform 3-Hit Combo FF easily/spacey.
You can only do this before he strangle Mayu.
Sometimes you can lure the Seeker to get out too.
Sometimes you can lure Limbo Woman to get out too.
Step by step:
-Perform 3-Hit Combo FF to Man in Dark if you succeed in lured him to
get out of the room.
If not, do 3xFF-Type-14 from outside.
-Perform 2xFF-Type-14 and 1xFF-Type Zero to Seeker.
-Perform 3xFF-Type-14 to Pole Bearer or 1xFF-Type Zero-Blast3/Zero3.
-Perform 2xFF-Type Zero to Limbo Woman or 1xFF-Type Zero-Zero lvl.3.
Note:
-This fight will not finish shortly because you need to aim correctly
from a very disadvantage spot.
-And sometimes you cannot reach the spirit because the distance is
too far that will force you to restart the mission .>_<.

-5th one climbs up. Perform Zero-Blast Lvl.3-Type Zero to defeat her.
-6th one climbs up. Perform Zero-Blast Lvl.3-Type Zero to defeat her.
Equip Type-14 Film again.
-7th one climbs up. Zero shot one time, Zero shot one time,
Zero shot one more time to defeat her. Your SP should be 4(full) by now.
Prepare Blast Level 3 and equip Type Zero Film.
-8th one climbs up. Perform Zero-Blast Lvl.3-Type Zero to defeat her.
-9th one climbs up. Perform Zero-Blast Lvl.3-Type Zero to defeat her.
That's it.
Note:
-Make sure you know how and when to use your type of film and special
ability such as Blast, Zero, etc.
-Their Capture Gauge is very quickly to disappear.
-You need to change between viewfinder mode and the 3rd person view to
avoid
her charging attack. Other than that, it is up to your FF/accuracy shot.
-To defeat her with one shot:

-When the Kusabi is reaching you faster, you need to release your
viewfinder mode to 3rd person view and run/walk faster to avoid him.
-When Sae catches you, your HP will drop to 1/6.
Using a Herbal Medicine will not do anything good for the next catch,
except that you will get healthy, this is good for Mio.
-When the Kusabi's attack reaches you, it is Game Over.
-No need to afraid of Sae when she is inside the red fog. Walk into it and
it will disappear.
Except when Sae decided to approach and strangle you, that is when she
becomes vulnerable. Keep tracking for the red fog and walk into it
for a few times until you have your chance to aim for a Core shot.
-Once again, the camera fails me. It often aim for the Kusabi behind me
when obviously Sae is inside that red fog in front of me.
It just do not want to change target no matter how many times I press
to open viewfinder. Except that I have to walk further to approach Sae,
but that already prove that the camera is not always to our advantage.
-Whenever you perform Zero lvl.3 to Sae, she will stop chasing you and
get back to standard procedure.
-Every time you score a Core shot to Sae, she will stop for a few seconds
giving you enough time to escape from her strangle by walk backward
while still aiming.
-When you are nearby to the Kusabi, he is going to after you.
Trick:
-Recharge 1 SP from Sae.
If you are going to use Blast, there is no need to recharge.
Let Sae strangle you three times in a row.
You need to EVADE all of them of course or get hit one time only.
Easier way is to avoid her attack three times.
-The next time Sae will show up, she will be standing still, giving you
a golden chance to perform 3-Hit Combo FF-Zero3,Zero,Core.
Just be careful when the Kusabi is around, which is the reason
why you need to attract Sae to an open area.
-When you repeat the process, you are taking advantage of cutting

Side Mission:

Some of you may have questions of what is so-called a Side Mission in
Fatal Frame 2.
To clarify, I will try to briefly explain it to you;
Side Mission is a side quest inside the game itself which you will find it
through a certain condition,
for example is to collect all the Villager's Reports
(Village Report 1 to 5, including all the sub notes) for side Mission 01
and to find all the hiding spirits for teh side Missin 02.
So, what will you get from going through all the troubles in collecting
all the notes and pictures?

Spoilers
Well if you want to get the Bloody Ring, you have to collect Masumi
Makimura @
Unrest In Piece @ Wanderer Ghost's Boyfriend's notes. They are called
Village
Reports. When u start Chapter 2 :
Twin Shrine Maidens, u'll still be in the Osaka House. Go to the Back Room
of
the Osaka House where you saw that Coal Brazier and you'll see a Woman On
Deck
or Miyako Sudo or Wanderer's ghost there
When u have just entered that room, you can't really see her. So once u
enter
that room go into Viewfinder Mode and you can snap a pic of her.
Where she was standing is a shining blue item.
Pick it up and you have Village Report. Once u have this village report,
you can start the side mission for the Bloody Ring. Go to the well near the
Storeroom where you meet Itsuki. You'll get a Village Report 2 i think and
walk away slowly from the well. Once u walk away, there will be a ghost
standing at that well. Quickly snap his pic and you get [Well Checker].
Next , go to Misono Hill and you will see a large Shinto gate at your far
left
hand side when you're going up the hill.
Once you examine the Shinto gate, you'll get a Village Report 4.
Now walk away slowly again, and another ghost will appear.
Take his picture quick and u'll get [Gate Checker]. Now go to forest area
near
the Kiryu house where you'll be at a fork of a road.
If you go up the row of stairs, you'll enter the Kureha Shrine area.
If you go left, you'll go to the Old Tree site. Now before you go up the
flight
of stairs to the shrine, examine the row of statues on left side of the
Shinto Gate. If you see properly, there will be a small little red color
fan
thingy blowing in the wind on the stones. If you examine that place around
the fan thingy, you'll get Village Report 5.
Now again, walk away slowly and another ghost will appear.
Quickly snap his pic and u get [Statue Checker]. Now go up the shrine via
the stairs (u'll get a cutscene of some priests going up the flight of
stairs
if you go near that area but it's normal nothing to worry about there) and
if
you walk closer towards the shrine, your blue filament will glow.
Aim at the Lantern to your right and you'll get Shrine Shadow.
This is just one of the spirits for your Spirit List and has nothing to do
with this side-mission. Now i think you have to move away from the shrine.
Once you do, a ghost of a man will be standing in front of the shrine door.
Quickly snap his pic and you'll get [Man at Shrine] i think.
Okay so now you got these pics, you'll have to wait until Chapter 4 to
Extras you will get when you have completed Mission Mode (any rank):
1. A new costume added. (Type G)
2. A new accessory added. (Mayu's Glasses -Red Crimson in color)

Chapter 5:
15. Fight Woman in Box in Underground Cellar to get it.
16. After taking a picture of Peeking Kid, pick it up in the Servant's
Room.
Chapter 6:
17. After taking a picture of Shivering Woman, get it on the corner floor.
18. After defeating Doll Maker.
Chapter 7:
19. At the Tachibana, 1F, Large Storeroom, pick it up from the floor.

1. During your play, if you leave the game on idle for a few minutes,
there will be a Ghost Screen Saver pop up on your monitor.
Do not press start to pause.
2.Chapter Four:
*After getting the Shadow Key from the Rope Temple, get back to the
Master's Room to fight one Veiled Priest. QUICKLY GET INSIDE the room
when
you hear he is preaching otherwise he will be gone.
When he is defeated, he will drop Spirit Orbx1 :).
*If you do not get points for 'Warehouse Checker' and 'Captive Man',
you will not get the 'Cave' memo!
3.Chapter Seven:
*When you go back to Kiryu House-A Passageway, to get your camera back,
do not forget to pick up Spirit Orbx1 at the Twins' Room.
(If you did not get it the first time, you can still get it on Chapter
8)

I have already experience some odd things happened with the controller.
Sometimes it moves down on the Screen Menu without me touching it.
Probably, it is the controller who wants to continue playing?
Just now, when fighting one Fallen Woman in the Kiryu House,Projector Room
and
while watching the Film Reel, my Triangle button is not working at all.
After defeating the Fallen Woman, all buttons are working perfectly
(again).
There are other odd things but I do not remember each of them :)
Next time if I happened to experience another one,
I will surely write it down.
Okay this is the second time I experienced it in the Projector Room.
If you take the film out, you can use your Triangle button again.
Probably, it is a fix setup from Tecmo for not allowing us to us the
Triangle
button while watching the Film Reel? Anyone?
Yes, the screen freeze a few times. But now it is ok.
