Is Kenuesee Racist?
I recently read an article published by the University of
California, San Diego. This fourteen page article is written
on behalf of the Latina responses to the racist discourse
they often suffer from. The article talks about the racism
and the joke of Jos, can you see. Many have cold
attitudes to the political incorrectness and the disrespect
behind the name of the candidate Jose Kenuesee. Although
the usage of Jos, can you see seems innocently
humorous to most Americans, many take offense to it but are simply too
silent to speak up.
We approached Jose Kenuesees campaign manager about this issue,
and here is what he had to say. We are aware that Jose has a rather ironic
name. Jose has very solid political views and we are all glad to be part of
his campaign team. They formally apologize to all those he may have
offended and stated that We by no means are attempting to make fun of
anyone. Team Kenuesee is looking forward to addressing the real issues of
the campaign in the debate on Friday.

Finance Update
Raising money is an extremely important part of the campaigns.
Typically, the campaign with the most money ends up winning the election.
Lets take a look at where everyones at. Currently in the lead for most
money raised is Jose Kenuesee with $4,085. Wayne White comes in second
with $3,070 raised. Bobandy is in third with $2,740 raised. The special
interest class has raised $1,490. The individuals who have raised the most
money are as follows: Mark VV with $875, Paige P with $825, and Aubrey
B with $600. From the looks of it, money is being spent very well, keep up
the good work!
Classes Yesterday
Randy Bobandy - Today work time in period two was used
very wisely. Today they researched and took a stance on
abortion and the refugee crisis. Randy Bobandy is a pro-life
candidate. After researching and looking at statistics they
believe that in the case of rape or incest the expecting
mother has until the first trimester to get an abortion. For
those of you unaware, the first trimester is the time from
conception to week twelve of the pregnancy. Randy and the
people of second hour also believe that if the mothers life is
at stake abortion is permitted. If the child dies in the whom
or is expected to die shortly after the birth, it is the doctors
discretion on whether or not the abortion will be performed
and how late the abortion can occur in this instance.
Randys stance on refugees includes taking in more
refugees. They believe in talking in 10,000 more; however, these 10,000
refugees will be orphan children that do not have a family or home. They
will take children up to the age of fifteen. After the age of fifteen they
believe that they may pose a threat to terrorism. Not only did Team Randy
set their stances on abortion and refugees, but they also put together their
wall. Good work period two!
Wayne White - Today there was an adjustment in period threes debate
team. Student Dillon Reynolds will be taking the place of Abby Dulin.
Period threes debate team will consist of Maddie Gulick, Houston Hawkins,
Katelyn Brockmeyer, and Dillon Reynolds. They laid out their stances on
the debate topics and cracked down on preparing for the debate on Friday.
Multiple students gave presentations about Wayne Whites stances. Abi C.
and Chandler G. gave a presentation and made a cake on the legalization of
marijuana. They said that the states should decide whether or not it is legal
and would like more research on limits of impairment. Katelyn B. gave a
great speech on military spending. She noted that we need to raise budget
to cover all the areas. Student Kailee J. gave a presentation on gun rights
giving current U.S. statistics on the issue. She mentioned how making
more laws will only hurt law abiding citizens and guns save more lives
than they take. Team Wayne noticed the need for more advertising and
made plans to make an announcement, wear t-shirts, and hand out candy
before the end of the week. They believe this will increase the awareness of
their candidate.
Jose Kenuesee - I, Lauren Laven, sat down with Allison Martyr and Noah
Mayer who are both members of Jose Kenuesees campaign. When asked
how she felt about the progress of Jose Kenuesees campaign, Allison
replied, Mark and Matt are doing a really great job of leading us, and I just
feel like were right on track. Allison has been giving presentations about
debatable issues such as health care, gun rights, and the Syrian refugee
crisis. She is also helping to decorate the campaign wall promoting
Kenuesee in the government room. She feels most passionate about Jose
Kenuesees stance on abortion. As the public knows, this candidate has
taken the stance of pro-life. Allison mentioned that all the classes are prolife, but she explained that Jose Kenuesee is going to work hard to discuss
the issues that are solely views of Jose Kenuesee in the debate, since all of
the candidates are quite similar. When asked what her future goals were
for the campaign, Allison responded, I just hope that we keep working
together as a team well and do what we need to do.
After a few minutes, I also sat down with Noah Mayer to ask him the
same questions about Jose Kenuesees campaign. When asked to share his
opinion on how their campaign was progressing, Noah responded, I really
like how the campaign is progressing and I think that we have done good
work to share our views. It would appear so, as campaign manager Mark
Vander Veen had written an article for yesterdays paper which explained
Jose Kenuesees views. When asked about the candidate stances, Noah had
a similar response to Allison; he explained that the debaters are looking to
acknowledge how Jose Kenuesees political views are different than the
other candidates.
in short.
