Teacher creates one on the board, with the help of the students, remembering that you also need characters, setting
and a plot that is in order.
Students work on page 420 on their Nb 3.2- has set up for comic strip for differentiated instruction
After students are asked to start their own comic strip (this will be part of the oral expression of the Unit 6
evaluation)- they will have freedom to create their own story, but additional prompts will be given for differentiated
instruction. Additionally, students will have time to brainstorm in partners to work out characters and setting.
Students will first write their dialogue on blank sheets of paper to work out story. Students will peer edit their stories
and have them checked by the teacher to help with ideas and fluency before they are copied into the comic strip
layout.
