Dear Sir/Madam,
Re: Group Marketing Executive
I am writing to apply for the above position as advertised via the Solent Graduate
site. As requested I am attaching a curriculum vitae.
The degree I am studying has prepared me for this exciting position. It
accommodates a balance between group and individual work which I find equally
rewarding. I believe I possess the required skills for this position. I am selfmotivated and driven in achieving targets due to a high level of attention to
detail and by using my initiative. My strong work ethic means that I can adhere
to strict deadlines which enables the company to move forward. This is
something that does not faze me as I am used to working under pressure.
My course has given me the knowledge, confidence and competence to develop
my skills having participated heavily in group work and individual academic
writing. I can communicate and cooperate with members strongly, and my
assessments demonstrate my expertise and understanding in many areas
including WordPress, SPSS, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. As someone who
balances part-time work and education, I have managed my time very effectively
and have excelled. My enhanced communication skills have given me the
confidence to delegate responsibilities to work colleagues in employment, when
necessary to complete a task effectively.
As someone who enjoys and uses social media, blogs and online material
regularly, I understand its benefit to businesses. I see this as a great opportunity
to showcase my skills and apply the theory I have learned to put into practice.
Thank you for taking the time in considering my application. I hope I have the
opportunity to serve and become part of Hilton-Baird, as well as to help it thrive.
Yours Faithfully,
Aikma Cieran Stirling-Stainsby
