1. Teacher shows PowerPoint slides
about pollution that pupils learnt in
the previous lesson.
2. Teacher links the PowerPoint slides
to the topic of the day.

effects of pollutions.

seen in the pictures that contribute to
water pollution.
4. Teacher questions about unseen things
that causes water pollution and effects
on it.
5. I am going to read the words. I want
you to listen and repeat after me.
6. Now, I want you to read in your groups.

Activity 1: Fishing in the pond

answers once they finished the game.

3. After the activity, pupils will need to
classify the statements on the types of
pollution read, for example air and
water pollution.

the pupils. Pupils do immediate
correction.
5. Teacher distribute task sheet to
each pupils.

6. Pupils hand-up their task sheet when
time is up.

2. Each pupil will have three word cards.
3. Each pupil takes turns to read aloud the
word cards and fish for the correct
picture cards.
4. Pupils, put up your hands when you are
done.

sheet(activity 2) to each group.

writer, while the rest will be the runner.
3. The runners take turn to read the
sentences on the wall and help the
writer to complete the sentences.

5. Now, I want you to classify the
sentences according to the types of
pollution.
6. I will distribute another task

sheet(activity 3) to each of you.
7. You will be given 10 minutes to
complete the task.
8. Hand in your task sheet when you are
done.

1. Pupils work in group of four.
2. Discuss what law they will impose to
stop factory from polluting the air and
water within five minutes.
3. Pupils write down their answer in A3
paper and present their answers.

1. Work in a group of four and discuss if

you are an Environmental Minister, what
law would you impose to stop factories
from polluting the air and water?
2. Discuss and write down your answer
within five minutes.
3. Now, I want you to present your answer.

your poster on next Friday.
