w2 9 Devotions

This 15 minute lesson for 5th grade students focuses on how there is still so much we don't understand about God and his creation. The teacher will begin with an opening prayer and show students a picture of a newly discovered jellyfish. Then, the teacher will read a story from a devotional book and discuss guiding questions about feeling like the smartest and wondering what we don't understand. The lesson aims to make students curious to know more about God and his creation and value that we cannot know everything.

Conclusion
Ask if ever students wonder how there are so many things we do not understand
about God and his creation? Tell them that it is good to wonder about that because
that will soon lead us to actually do something about acquiring knowledge. There
are so much more we need to know that is why we need to be passionate about our
work and to persevere so that we will be able to understand little by little who God
is, and what the creation is for.
