Thewealthofabrahminshouldnotbeeatenortouched.Whattotalkofstealingit.AslongastheMoonshall
bewiththestars,tillthenshewillbetortured(naraka).Shamalabeggedherhusbandtotellherthewayoutof
thissinandDharmarajtaughtherBuddhastamiVratta.

rightspertainingtothenetherworldshavebeendescribedinthevarioustantras,likeputtingspiritsinbottles,
makingspiritsyourservants,etc.Hethencontinuedreading.

Keepfastontheday,takeabathinthemorning(preferablyinariver)andbringwaterfromtheriverinanew
kalasha(specialIndianwatervessel).Thekalashahastobeestablishedinthehouse(inthepujaroomaspartof
kalashapuja).Placeasmallpieceofgoldinsidethevesselinthewaterandcoveritwithagreencoconut.Ona
patra(plate)madeofbamboo,thefollowingeightfoodshavetobeoffered:modhak,fanni,sweetpoopmadeof
ghee,wataka,etc.withflowerstobeofferedasnavidya(prasad)toBuddha.Latertheyshouldbeconsumedby
onesselfandothers(friendsandwellwishers).Foodisnottobetouchedandonlytheprasadcanbeeatenthat
dayafterthepuja.

verypureplacelikeonapilgrimage.Tillthetimeofpralayahewillliveinsvarga.Thisvratahasthepowerto
removesinslikeBrahmana(killingofabrahminoracow).
