Site planning and sustainable building


Successfully completed university studies in site planning with consideration of
innovative and sustainable designs in landscape architecture and urban design to
figure out the complex interrelations between economic, social and ecological
standards about sustainable building.
Took part in the field trip of Living Prairie Museum for the site plan project,
knowing how to measure the building, analyzing the shadow study, wind map,
relevant parameters such as history, water, land use, topography, plants site, character,
construction, regulations and materials, combined with their wildlife habitat.
Finished LEED course and being prepared of the LEED examination, extensive
understanding about green building and industry such as the standards of assessing the
building level, the principles of sustainable building and how can we reduce such as
the light pollution, heat island pollution and water pollution so on.

Math and Economics


Finished University studies in math including Calculus, Techniques in Classical
Linear &Algebra, gained high quality of calculating skills and logical analyzing
ability, data collecting and varies methods of collecting.
Received A grade in Agribusiness and successful behave well in giving
presentation of business plan of Bridge Drive- In Ice Cream Store case, analyzing
from history, popularity and recommendation for economic strategies to develop,
make best management business plan.
Received A+ grade in Microeconomic Principles, which helps me learn the basic
principles of Supply and Demand model, comfortable to use in reality application and
practice.
Accomplished the Economic Environment course, understanding good
combination of economics and environment, thinking deeply the relationship and
moral questions between these two topics, knowing the concepts of Natural Capital,
Social Capital, feeling comfortable to use economic models such as BCA, WTP,
Economic Efficiency and MACagg.

Environmental Monitoring and Laboratory Analysis


Successfully completed in University biology and chemistry courses, knowing
basic laboratory experiment method and modern biology concepts. Such as basic
laboratory operating, report making and fundamental chemistry, familiar with
laboratory equipment including calorimeter, distiller, SRS DigiMelt apparatus,
Buchner funnel vacuum filtration etc a series laboratory equipment.
Communication and Writing
Employed as the marketer for College Pro gained the skills of working door to
door, talking to people, providing companys information, handling the estimate for
the house and paper work excel, calling back with good communication, gained good
skills of problem solving, experienced communicating with variety people.
Team work in Environmental Design course about Introduction of Environmental
Design, influent presentation which knowing how to research, evaluate and
conclusion making; cooperating in project, organizing group mates idea and being
the group leader.
Received B+ grade in Women Gender Studies (Writing Course) which let me
know Canadas women studies and rich writing skills.
Received B+ grade in Environment Design which requires high quality of
writing and expressing; having my own sketchbook; High interest and passion in
Architecture and now focus area is Sustainable Building.

Art Appreciation
High interest in painting appreciation, "Museum-gallery-theater-addicted", took Art
History course, visited United States, China, Japan, Canada's museums and galleries,
owned good sense of decorating and have rich experience in museum planning, have
unique understanding about artistic work.
