    ISO 9001 standard defines the quality system requirement a company should implement to ensure customers of their
    ability to manufacture a quality product and meet their service requirements. The standard was developed by the
    International Organization for Standardization, a multi-national association of countries working toward worldwide
    quality assurance, based in Geneva, Switzerland. A companys compliance with ISO 9001 identifies that the company
    adheres to recognizable standards of quality. ISO 9001 is recognized by over 100 countries around the world.

    The ISO 9001 standard was initially approved in 1987. The international organization is composed of representatives
    from each nations standards organizations. Standards are developed by an ISO Technical Committee and submitted
    to the governing council. Approval of this group is required before publication.

    Certification may be performed by any number of agencies including American National Standards Institute (ANSI),
    American Society for Quality (ASQ), Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), Registrar Accreditation Board of the US
    (RAB) among others. De Nora Water Technologies' certification was conducted by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance
    and jointly accredited by Registrar Accreditation Board of the US and UK National Accreditation Mark (UKAS). These
    accreditation marks assure that our quality management system has undergone third party assessment against
    international criteria.

    The most important asset of ISO accreditation is that it is not only a road map, but a catalyst to the creation of
    confidence between De Nora Water Technologies, Inc. and our customers.
