    Abstract

    Post-Apocalypse is a settlement which will help mankind in the occurrence of any calamity or

    disaster. The human, flora and fauna and the services all exists in the vault. It is a sort of

    conservation vault which holds the resources which are essential for the human race to survive

    after the apocalypse.

    Definitions

    Post Apocalypse - Relating to the time following a nuclear war or catastrophic event

    Conservation Vault - A vault conserving all the resources necessary for human beings to

    survive.

    Need of the project

    Considering the environmental conditions i.e. the climate change, depletion of vegetation and

    the ozone depletion forces us to take severe actions to save mankind which proceeds to have a

    settlement which can provide with the resources for the human beings to live for as minimum to

    let the apocalypse pass and reincarnate the Earth in order to save our home i.e. the only known

    sustainable living planet.

    Aim

    The aim is to establish or provide a habitat for the survival of mankind during the collapse.

    Objectives

    To establish a habitat which is capable of handling the crisis or any disaster.

    Another thing is to save mankind for further procreating and re-establishing the earth

    Scope

    The scope of the projects entails the design, the material and the technique required to withstand,

    without any harm onto any of the resources and the species residing in it during the disaster and

    till its safe to get out and the earth is suitable for rehabilitation. The schemes of the different projects

    can be discussed and the construction techniques and material is discussed in detail.

    Limitations

    The limitation for the project is that due to the time constraint the provision of details for any of the

    buildings either public realm, recreational and etc. cannot be shown.

    Site Selection criteria

    Site Selection criteria for this project is

    Site should be totally abandoned form human beings i.e. no interaction of artificial

    interferences there in to figure out the actual predictions for the project.

    Site to be chosen as to it can stand the catastrophes in order to keep the settlement safe

    for residing.

    The proximity and location of the site should be safe from the disasters but close enough

    for the safe extraction of the people.

    Site-I

    Evaluating both the figures i.e. Major disasters and Earthquake for the consideration of

    Northern Indian states there are safer location such as South-eastern part of Rajasthan,

    North-Western part of M.P and Kolkata.

    Therefore, the potential states for options are either

    - Orrisa

    - Rajasthan

    - Madhya Pradesh
