    WELCOME REMARKS DURING THE COLLEGE BALL C5 2017

    To our dear President and Chairman of the Board, Atty. Ronald R. Yap and his very
    supportive wife, our School Directress, Mrs. Rebecca M. Yap, our very own College Director,
    Dr. Marvin C. Castro and his gorgeous wife, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Mrs.
    Rowena Grace Yap-Castro, the Vice President for External Affairs, Mr. Fritzgerald Yap and
    his wife, Mrs. Neneth Yap, the Vice President for Internal Affairs, Ms. Naomi Joy Yap, our
    very active and equally supportive College Registrar, Ms. Kate L. Osorio, our respective
    College Chairpersons, faculty members, personnel, students, and guests, good evening.

    It gives me a great pleasure to extend to you all a very warm welcome as we hold our
    College Ball tonight .

    College Balls are anchored in tradition which conincide with the end of academic year.
    Tonight will be one of the memorable events in our school life. Our students in C5 who have
    excelled in their studies last semester will be given recognition. This would also serve as an
    avenue to socialize and become part of the larger academic community. Let us not be
    ashamed to share our ideas and opinions. By doing so, we are building our self-confidence
    and we also learn. As members of The Fisher Valley College, we must always aspire for
    excellence and be proud of being part it. We must be catalysts of change in our society. We
    must be contributors to the general welfare of our society as part of a Christ-centered
    institution.

    Without further ado, I urge you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the night! May God bless each
    one of us as we celebrate the goodness of God in our lives.
