2. Why did you choose this campus? Has a lot of health courses / programs

3. What is unique about this campus? SFU delivers 150 programs in eight
Faculties, with over 70 research institutes and centers .

4. What kind of programs are offered? Beedie School of Business, Faculty of


Applied Sciences, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of
Communication, Art and Technology, Faculty of Education, Faculty of
Environment, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Science .

5. What is the application deadline? February 28th

6. How do I check my application status? Go to the website

password.

7. After I have been accepted, how do I register? Visit


https://www.sfu.ca/students/enrollment/enroll.html.

8. How do I know what classes to register for? Keep an eye out for credits for
programs/ courses and register for classes that interests you.

9. What is the average class size? The current student population is


approximately 500.

10. How do you provide academic advice to students? Visit academic advisors by
asking by going online for help, dropping by their office or booking an
appointment.

11. Where are the best places to study on campus? The roof by the West Mall,
Comfy couches by Renaissance Caf, Starbucks, West Mall quiet study zone,
out the doors beside 9200, Burnaby Mountain Park, Bennett Library.

12. Does the campus offer residence? Not at the surrey central location but yes, at
other locations.

13. How can I get involved with athletics or clubs and societies? For clubs visit
https://go.sfss.ca/clubs/list. For athletics visit
http://www.sfu.ca/programs/athletics-recreation.html.

14. How long was the tour? One hour

15. What surprised you about campus? SFU is also the first Canadian member of the
National Collegiate Athletic Association, the worlds largest college sports
association.

16. What did you like about the campus? That there was 6,500 faculty and staff, and
130,000 alumni between the 3 locations.

17. What did you not like about the campus? That the particular location was by the
mall and sky train station.

18. Would you apply to this Campus? Maybe if I find courses that I find interesting.
