    Sevens Clapping Game

    Clapping Rhythms
    Do each pattern twice

    1. The first one is hitting the table 7 times.

    2. Then you do it with hitting the table then clapping, so: hit, clap, hit, clap, hit,

    clap, hit.

    3. Then you hit, clap, snap, hit, clap, snap, hit.

    4. Then: hit, cross your hands over and hit, hit normally, clap, snap, clap, hit.

    Count to seven each time.

    To make things more difficult you can get kids to do it in

    a round or add a 5th rhythm.

    5. hit, cross hit, hit the back of your hands together still crossed, cross hit, normal hit,

    clap, snap.
