Describe the instructional activities that will occur PRIOR to the SRT activity and how you will introduce
the SRT activity.
Prior to the SRT activity, the teacher will go over the major historical events and key figured that were
involved in World War II. The teacher will go through each event that occurred during the period-of-time
between 1941-1945. The students will then answer an open-ended question about why they believed the
United States got involved. After each topic is covered, the teacher will then use the SRT (Plickers) to assess
what the students have learned about the material.

Immediate corrective feedback: Will you pre-select correct answers to some of all of the questions and
display correct response to the class after the SRT activity?
Yes
No
Why or why not?
By allowing the students to see the correct answers, this will allow students to critically think about each
question and why they did not get the question right. It will also help the teacher to adjust their lesson based
on the students strengths and weaknesses with the content.
