Glossary terms

Chapter 1: On Heaven’s Road

Vocabulary:

1. Goal: aim, objective, purpose, target

4. Phenomenon: happening, incident, experience, event

I was experiencing the same phenomenon known among Quakers, Shakers and early
Pentecostals.

Doctrine terms:

1. Anointing of God’s Holy Spirit: is an initial evidence or manifestation of the


Lord’s presence.

The anointing of God’s Holy Spirit was so strong that I could not get up, ad all I
could do was sing, talk in tongues and laugh.

2. Church: body of Christians (not church building)

I literally fell in love with Jesus after I attended church a couple of times

3. Gift of Tongues: gift of Spirit- the charismatic gift of ecstatic speech (not physical
tongue but heavenly language)

Two weeks after this Easter Sunday experience, I received the gift of tongues while
at home and began to sing in the spirit.

4. Glory: praise and honor

The purpose of this book is to give Him glory: “To Him be glory in the church of
Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen” (Ephesians 3:21).

5. Intercessory Prayer: prayer, petition, or entreaty in favor of another - God leads
you to pray for others.

Since meeting Jesus, I have had a strong desire to pray for others, I have become a
true prayer warrior. Intercessory prayer has become a way of life for me.

6. Willing vessel: voluntary to serve God

Chapter 2: All Power in Heaven and on Earth

Vocabulary

1. Commitment: an agreement or pledge to do something in the future

It was a night of commitment, challenge and purpose.

2. Empower: to give official authority or legal power to

Spiritual transfusion: spirit of transferring from body in to spiritual form
Supernatural force: power or energy from God (Jesus)

Chapter 3: All Things Are Possible

1. Bewilder: confuse, perplex, puzzle

I couldn’t see my face clearly, but I felt certain it was the face of the bewildered
youth who had been without God and without hope.

2. Body transformation: body changed

He had transported me from my bed, home and body and had given me a new body
that enabled me to fly and walk with Him.

3. Detach: separate

It seemed as if the insides of my body were detaching from rest of me.

4. Flail: move or swing

I began to scream and flail my arms wildly. It seemed as of the insides of my body
were detaching from the rest of me.

5. Manifestation: obvious, visible recognize, evident, noticeable, show, discernible

This phenomenon is known as “ holy laughter” in some circles.

I can say without any reservation that I know is a manifestation of the Lord’s
presence.

6. Out-of-the-body: body stays but spirit taken up to heaven

I had heard of out-of-body experiences before, but in this case I had been taken out
of my body and deposited in a body that was not me-yet it was me.

7. Phenomenon happening, incident, experience, event

The phenomenon is known as “ holy laughter” in some circles.

8. Prostrate (prostrating): to put (oneself) in a humble and submissive posture or


state

Others were there with me, kneeling on the floor and prostrating themselves before
Him.

Chapter 4: Sooner Than You Think

Vocabulary:

1. Provide: give

Water typified the cleansing from sin that our Lord has provided for us.

He seemed to be almost angry, or at least I sense a great urgency in His words. It was
a warning.

1. Born -again: Christian believers who put away old desire and become a new creature in
Christ

2. End times: End-time refers to the last days/period of time/history on earth before the
2nd Coming of Christ
3. Incorruptible: morally upright

Chapter 5: My Kingdom Is Ready

Vocabulary:

1. Abortions: killing baby before the baby is born

I do not like abortions.

2. Contrast: opposite

I sensed the Lord was showing me a vivid contrast between those who were happy and
those who were sad.

3. Rebuke: reprimand, scold

The tone of the Lord’s voice reflected anger as He rebuked me, “Don’t say that again,
daughter,”

4. Reverential (reverent): respectful

In fact, my reverential fear of Him mixed with my great love for Him, has led me to
conclude that I must never displease Him.

Chapter 6: A Place In Hell Part 1

1. Deject: discourage, unhappy, gloomy

It is not knowing the Lord that leads a person into hell, and that is why I want to tell the
whole world about the pit I saw and the wonderful kingdom of heaven.

Hell: place of torture, misery, no hope, separation from the Lord

Chapter 6: A Place In Hell Part 2

1. Disobedient Christians: Christians who do not live by the Word.

2. Sinful Christians: These so-called “Christians” who don’t really know the Lord and
who continually and willfully sin and don’t repent before they die or before the Rapture
happens will be eternally lost.

They are disobedient Christians.

Jealous versus Envy


Both means the same thing except jealous is someone who wants some thing that they do
not have where as envy means someone who wants something they wish to have for a
personal gain or covet something

It was beyond comprehension how I had been chosen to receive so much in advance of
the great day of the Lord when we shall know, as even as we are known, but I did
understand that I had been granted an incredibly special grace to see so many things.

The enormity of the bible in front of me served to remind me that the Bible should grow
ever bigger in my life- that it should be the foundation on which my ministry would be
built and launched

I noticed that the writers who were inspired to write the Bible had notebooks in their
hands, and then I realized tat the Lord was showing this scene for the second time so that
I would fully understand the importance of His Word in my life.

The fact was, I was very intimidated by the whole idea!

7. Presence: being there

He (Jesus) emphasized that the reason why my body shook so forcibly every time I was
in the presence was because he was pouring His power into me.

8. Reality: truth

He (Jesus) took me to some of the same heavenly places more than once so that I could
fully experience their reality- and remember them.

Chapter 10: Jerusalem Is Ready

Chapter 11: Heavenly Food, Heavenly Pleasures

Vocabulary:

1. Communion: Fellowship with God between Christ and his people.

It was a wonderful time of sweet communion with the Lord.

Our journey took us along a wide road with enormous rocks on both sides,

Chapter 12: Enjoy the Kingdom

Vocabulary:

1. Anxiety: nervousness; concern; worry; apprehension

2. Catharsis: purifying of the emotions or relieving emotion tensions.

His tender words tender words of love and comfort broke my heart. I wept profusely.
It was a moment of cleansing, healing and catharsis, I felt fully renewed.

Flashbacks of the Lord’s austere (strict or stern) presence on the throne would steal my
joy from me from time to time but I endeavored (try or attempt) to keep on dancing
joyfully.

The interior of the cabin was immaculate, but the boat was large enough for only two
people.

5. Jealously: covetously

Martha on the other hand, was always trying hard to please Him and she was filled with
anxiety, jealousy and turmoil.

6. Prototype: example; archetype

That’s why I’m sure heaven is the prototype of everything that is beautiful on earth.

7. Replica: copy; imitation

The more I study the book of Genesis, the more I realize that the Garden of Eden was a
replica of heaven on earth.

8. Symbol (symbolize): sign or represent something

For many centuries, the beautiful dove has symbolized two things: peace and Holy Spirit

Doctrine Terms:

Catechism: handbook of questions and answers for teaching the principle of a religion or
teaching the fundamental of subject

That is its purpose. As the Westminster Catechism states, the chief end of man is “ to
glorify God and to enjoy him forever.”

Chapter 13: Angels In Heaven and Earth

Vocabulary:

1.Banned: kicked out; expelled

In similar vein, Adam and Eve were banned from their earthly paradise forever, and
those who do not obey God in this life will be banned from the heavenly paradise.

2. Dominion: power, control: territory

God said, “ Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have
dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all
the Earth and over every creeping things on earth” ( Genesis 1:26).

3. Emanating: to come out from a source

As I was praying in the Spirit, the words heaven is so real kept emanating from my spirit
over and over again.

4. Preoccupy (preoccupied): obsess


The thought of being in heaven with Jesus preoccupied all my thoughts.

5. Rejuvenate: make younger; refresh

Although I felt exhausted (tired) during those months, I had been spiritually rejuvenated.

6. Spectacular: fantastic; wonderful

a. It was a spectacular vista that the Lord and I were enjoying.

7. Surrender: give up; give in; submit

I am finally learning how to surrender all my worries to Him, because I know He cares
about me.

8. Symbol (symbolic): sign or represent something

Clouds have symbolic importance to the Lord.

Holy Trinity: The word Trinity is not in the bible. It is a doctrinal terms means three in
one. Jesus is one God with 3 different roles. Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

Chapter 14: Walking in the Word Part 1

Vocabulary:

shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in
the things for which I sent it” Isaiah 55:11

2. Preoccupy (ied): too busy focusing on one thing; to fill or perform the functions
