General Psychology
1. One of the things I don’t want to forget are the memories I had with my grandfather
who already passed away.
2. The happy and proud expressions of my parents and family when I told them that
I was to be the Valedictorian of our batch back in Elementary is still fresh in my
memories.
3. I don’t want to forget the moment when I delivered my Valedictorian speech when
I was in Elementary.
4. The moment I decided to take up my current course, BS Architecture, is one
memory that I treasure up to this moment.
5. Also, I don’t want to forget the times when I voluntarily serve the church since those
are the moments that I can give back to God, even though small efforts.
6. I’ll never forget the late-night practices for the Himigsikan, an annual Christmas-
themed Group Singing contest at University of Batangas – High School (HS)
Department, because those were the happy moments wherein our whole class
was bonded with the same goal—winning.
7. There were the bonding moments with my closest friends in College and I know
that wouldn’t forget that.
8. I know that I won’t forget the time when I accidentally slipped in front of the
Bookstore back in HS, in front of many passing students. It was plain embarrassing
and funny that I’m sure to tell the tale to my future children.
9. I’ll never forget when I was reprimanded by my Grade 1 teacher for having bad
handwriting. I decided to improve my handwriting skills and I can say that it is much
better now.
10. I used to stay at my Elementary school’s library in the morning before my afternoon
class and I don’t want to forget the memories of reading almost all the books there.
11. I don’t want to forget about the anonymous letter I received when I was in High
School saying that I’ve changed. It really made me rethink about my recent actions
and realized that it was half-true. I still don’t know who the sender was.
12. When we were in HS, one of our classmates was ‘possessed’ by an unknown
entity. It was our monthly exam and we were all distracted due to what happened.
Though it was scary, I don’t want to forget that.
13. When I was in Grade One, I was reprimanded by my adviser for spilling her lunch
on her table while I was busy playing with my classmate. I learned to be more prim
and proper after that.
14. I don’t want to forget about the Architecture JS Prom that I have recently attended
for it was a magical night that I spent with my classmates.
15. I’ll never forget the times when I was still texting this schoolmate from HS and it
was all sweet. Turns out that he was gay which I’ve learned while I was in College.
16. I don’t want to forget my HS classmates especially when we performed pranks on
our fellow classmates or other schoolmates. Those times were fun and enjoyable.
17. I don’t want to forget about the time when I received very low marks on a major
test on a Math subject and I had to work twice as hard just to pull it back up.
Thankfully, it was worth it.
18. I don’t want to forget why I wanted to become an architect and that is to make my
parents and family proud of me, especially my late grandfather.
19. Staring at how buildings affect the natural environment inspired me to study about
organic architecture and I’ll never forget that.
20. I remember looking and observing the houses at Taal, Batangas, seeing how old
they were yet preserved. I also want to design a building that can withstand time.
21. I’ll never forget seeing a rundown Waterpark sign at Manila. It was a happy yet sad
sign due to the rust slowly eating away at the signboard.
22. Whenever I go to Manila, I often look out the window to see the squatter’s area. It
constantly reminds me of how destructed Manila is.
23. I don’t want to forget the time when I watched a movie in the cinemas alone for the
first time. It made me feel a sense of independence from that simple act alone.
24. Back when I was in HS, I was strolling around the city with my friends when we
saw this old beggar who asked us for alms. I’ll never forget that I gave him a 20-
peso bill which was supposed to be for my savings.
25. I won’t forget when I was asked by my crush to dance during the Grad Ball back in
HS.
26. I don’t want to forget about my HS best friends whom I still have contact with until
now.
27. I don’t want to forget my birthday present when I was in elementary, a big Garfield
plush toy. It is still on display until now.
28. I won’t forget about my first design of a house back in HS.
29. I don’t want to forget about that one time when I forgot my wallet at home, I had to
explain it to the driver of the jeep I was on and he kindly gave me a free trip plus a
twenty so that I can go home safely.
30. Once, I bought a bread from a convenience store near the school and I won’t forget
that while I was walking back to the school, I noticed that it already had molds. I
threw it away.
31. I was walking down the street while holding a newly bought banana cue for
merienda when a group of Badjaos happened to pass by. One snatched the
banana cue and I wasn’t able to chase after them.
32. I don’t want to forget about the advice of my parents to us that we should treasure
our education because it was our inheritance from them.
33. I don’t want to forget about chasing at a chicken for running away with my newly
washed bra because its brand was Triumph and wasn’t fully paid yet.
34. I don’t want to forget about the times when we cooked food on a stone stove with
wood as charcoal.
35. I’ll never forget having to walk from my school to SM back when the Calumpang
Bridge was still collapsed.
36. I remember having to board the boats faring by the river because the pontoon
bridge was still unavailable that time.
37. I don’t want to forget about the time when I received an anonymous prank call and
my older sister berated the caller until the caller had to hang up after uttering a
stunned apology.
38. I’ll never forget about the day I had diarrhea before a declamation contest. It was
my first contest.
39. I don’t want to forget this major fight with my friend which I had this College.
40. I don’t want to forget the reason why I started to study Architecture.
41. I don’t want to forget what my nephew told me about sharing.
42. I’ll never forget when I almost fainted before a thesis defense during HS due to
being nervous.
43. I’ll never forget the time when I was a journalist for our HS publication and the
contests we won.
44. I’ll never forget being part of the broadcasting team during a contest in HS.
45. I don’t want to forget about the memories I had during Elementary, especially my
friends.
46. I don’t want to forget when I accidentally peed on my uniform because I had to wait
a long line before using the rest room in school.
47. I don’t want to forget the first time I had my period when I thought I was injured.
48. I don’t want to forget about how proud I was of the achievements of my younger
siblings.
49. I’ll never forget a major fight my younger sister and I had over a hairbrush.
50. I don’t want to forget about the teachings of my late grandfather to me and my
siblings.
51. I don’t want to forget about my goal of giving my parents the comfortable lifestyle
they deserve.
52. I don’t want to forget about receiving a surprise birthday party from my College
friends and it made me feel special and loved.
53. I don’t want to forget about how God gave me a light push in the back when I was
ready to give up on my studies.

requirements for MAJOR and MINOR subjects.
55. I don’t want to forget working during the summer as part the SPES just to earn a
scholarship and save money in order to help my parents.
56. I don’t want to forget the times when I had to sleep at the living room because the
bedroom was too crowded to study at.
57. I’ll never forget having to come from the hospital to school and going back to the
hospital again after.
58. I don’t want to forget the way my late grandfather smiled at me when I made him
proud of my accomplishments.
59. I don’t want to forget the way my parents hugged me when I came down the stage
after delivering my Valedictorian speech during Elementary.
60. I don’t want to forget about the cruelty of the society to mentally disturbed beggars
in the street.
61. I’ll never forget the time I was operated in appendicitis. That was my first time.
62. I don’t want to forget the most embarrassing moment when I’ll fall from the jeep.
That made me stronger.
63. I’ll never forget the time when my grandfather is suffering and seem to die. That
was the saddest part of my life.

1. One motivation that I use to keep going is that I want to make my family proud of
me. I want to achieve my goals not only for myself but also for my parents,
grandparents, and siblings.
2. Another motivation is the dream of being called Architect in the future. The sweet
victory of hearing it before my name keeps me going.
3. Whenever I remember that I need to help in supporting my younger siblings with
their education, I keep motivating myself to study and work harder.
4. I know that God is guiding me all throughout my struggles and hardships. This is
enough to keep me going every day.
5. I often tell myself that problems wouldn’t come my way if God didn’t know that I
have the strength to conquer it.
6. Even when faced with failure, I pick myself up and remind myself why I started.
7. Never say ‘Never’ because even the impossible can become possible when the
right amount of effort is exerted to succeed.
8. There is no hard work that doesn’t pay off and this is what I constantly remind
myself when things are tough.
9. Quitting is not an option for me because I have my goals clearly embedded in my
heart and mind.
10. I chose Architecture as my course because I want my original design and ideas to
be recognized by all people in the world.
11. I have vast concern towards the continuous destruction of the environment due to
reckless establishments of buildings. I study Architecture for I want to impart new
and ingenious ways of constructing buildings with the lessened risk of destruction.
12. In the future, I want to design my dream house for our family. This is one of my
motivations.
13. Whenever I stay up late to finish my projects or to study, I constantly tell myself
that everything will be worth it in the end.
14. The idea of me holding that diploma in my hands and finally graduating pushes me
harder to work for my goals.
15. I keep reminding myself to be passionate about my work.
16. When I feel down, I keep asking myself why I started and when I have the answer,
I continue.
17. I write my goals down on my journal so that I can read it when I am losing sight.
18. I sometimes watch motivational videos from Youtube to help me keep going.
19. I constantly remind myself of how lucky I am compared to those who weren’t given
the opportunity to live their life the way they wanted.
20. I want to make this world a better place through my efforts, no matter how small it
is.
21. I always start small with my goals before going big because I know that the steps
to success is step-by-step, not one big leap.
22. I try to share my goals with those whom I trust so that they can also give me
constant reminders.

24. I usually take short breaks like watching a movie to avoid burnouts.
25. I reward myself sometimes so that I can feel like my hard work is paying off.
26. I try to become a role model towards my younger siblings so that I’ll be motivated
to do better than usual.
27. They say that I might be dreaming too big. I just say, watch me make my big
dreams happen.
28. I also read inspiring quotes from successful people.
29. Whenever I have doubts, I squash it start using it as an advantage and motivation.
30. I have a personal contract hidden somewhere within my wallet, a contract I have
with myself along with the conditions I have to meet.
31. Only I am responsible for my life and I see to it that I keep myself in check
especially with achieving goals.
32. Whenever I am compared to others, I use it as a motivation to do better than the
other party.
33. Some relatives have doubted me and tried to dictate my choices but I know and I
believe that I can prove them wrong.
34. I always tell myself that I am proud of my accomplishments.
35. I recognize the feeling of discontentment with one’s work and I don’t stop working
until I know that I am satisfied.

40. Even when I am sick, I push myself to finish my tasks. Only after this can I rest.

54. Sometimes, it’s all about the perspective. It is not hard if you don’t call it ‘hard’.
55. I keep my body and mind healthy while working because it is my biggest
investment.

57. As much as I want to avoid mistakes, I know that I can’t. But I learn from it.
