    IIMA Doctoral Summer School 2018

    April 1 to April 5 2018


    IIM Ahmedabad is organizing the IIMA Doctoral Summer School 2018 (DSS18) from April 1 – 5,
    2018. DSS18 invites applications from doctoral students and young faculty for its research methods and
    research development workshops. DSS18 is spread over 5 days and includes hands-on workshops on
    research methods, research design, theory and literature review, and crafting and publishing research. The
    methods workshops are designed to provide the participant with theoretical and conceptual knowledge as
    well as providing the participant with a hands-on experience in deploying the method. Participants will
    get to be a part of Individual and/or group assignments which will help in networking besides contributing
    to mutual learning among participants. All the participants will be given a certificate of attendance at the
    end of the program.

    Registration and Fees
    IIM Ahmedabad is organizing the IIMA Doctoral Summer School 2018 with the objectives of encouraging
    the development of and collaboration among doctoral students and young faculty. There are no registration
    and participation fees for DSS18. However, participants will have to bear their food and accommodation
    expenses which are provided on campus. Accommodation will be provided to all participants in dormitory
    rooms on campus on a single-occupancy basis. Indicative costs are given below. Selected candidates will
    be notified by the first week of March 2018 and are expected to make the payment within a week of
    notification of their acceptance.

    There are limited openings for DSS18 and we encourage interested candidates to register at the earliest.
    All registered participants will be required to attend all the combined sessions on Day 1 and the afternoon
    of Day 5.

    DSS18 is designed to benefit doctoral students and young faculty and preference will be given for such
    applicants. We suggest interested applicants not to delay submitting their application. We are not
    responsible for, nor will we entertain late submissions.
