The meaning of Acts 4:12: Acts is the book to find in the New
Testament, “4” is the chapter in Acts, and “12” is the verse in
Chapter 4
“If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his
word is not in us” I John 1:10.
Read the scriptures given below and write the correct words in
the blanks.
Long before Jesus was born, God, through His prophets, told of
the coming of Jesus to live on earth for awhile. Enjoy reading
aloud some of these prophecies:
Isaiah 9:6 — “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is
given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his
name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The
everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 35:5–6a — “Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened,
and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the
lame man leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing:”
Jeremiah 31:15 — “Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in
Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for
her children refused to be comforted for her children, because
they were not.” (This was a prophecy about Herod killing the
children.)
Micah 5:2 — “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be
little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he
come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings
forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” (This tells us
that Bethlehem is to be the birthplace of Jesus.)
Psalms 72:1, 10, 17 — “Give the king thy judgments, O God,
and thy righteousness unto the king's son.”
“The kings of Tarshish and the isles shall bring presents; the
kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts” (Psalm 72:10). What
is this a prophecy of?
